Is there any way to turn off the redundant notification window Samsung deems necessary to pop up when selecting flight mode? This is not a stock function of Android.
I think wanam does this via xposed. Wanam is on the play store (requires root)

You can install xposed framework and the notify clean module to get rid of them. That's what I use along with a lot of other people.
So I'm not doing anything wrong just have to use a work around app. Thanks

For LMT, you can also long press on the notification in the notification panel and select app info - when the LMT info page pops up, uncheck notifications or if it is not checked, check it and then uncheck it and you will get a popup saying you won't get notifications - click ok and close. You do have to do this everytime you reboot your device tho.
download 'notificationsoff' from the play store. icon is a green square with some lines in it...just in case u have issues finding it. lets u turn off notifications for any apps u chose whether they r user apps or system.

Hi, I may sound a little dumb. But can anyone of you please tell me why I am not able to see any settings regarding ART runtime or Immersive mode on my Nexus 4,? I updated to Android 4.4.2 through OTA update.
Just asking.
Hit the build number 8 times in settings about phone it will reveal a hidden menu called developer options ART is an option there.

Immersive mode is something, that the developer of the app has to include in code http://www.phonearena.com/news/Android-immersive-mode-apps-and-games_id49554
For immersive mode you can use a custom ROM such as cataclysm which has the option to turn it on through out the phone. Otherwise there's an xposed module immerse me (not much help on art runtime though).

hi. so is there any way to auto hide the navigation buttons with no root?
If you're running 4.4 and an app allows immersive mode, then the nav bar will hide. Otherwise, no, you have to be rooted then install something like gravity box and enable expandable desktop.

i have a streaming app that doesn't work with rooted devices! this is my problem with root!
Being rooted has so many benefits though. There's a xposed module called rootcloak which hides root from certain apps, allowing them to work.

i can't understand why google doesn't add a minimize button next to 3 icons of navigation!
I've strange feeling that I've met with something like that in one's ROM "Features" section... which ROM is able to do such things? Or is there any app that will help me set immersive mode for certain app and not whole OS? Idk, Xposed maybe?
Edit:
I've found "Force immersive mode for certain apps" module in Xposed, but unfortunatelly it won't co-operate :/ any other ideas?
Get AppSettings xposed module. It let's you force immersive mode almong lots of other neat things.

I use a combination of xhalo & rocketdial, I tried using the stock dialer but it doesn't scale correctly.

Where can i find these apps?
Xhalo floating Windows is an xposed module, you will need to be rooted and have the xposed framework installed in order to use the module. Information about all of this including file downloads can be found here on XDA Developers. Rocket dial is a dialer replacement app that can be found in the play store.

thanks just downloaded xHalo, but not working for stock phone app, for some reason play store isn't working here, i'll check it with rocket dial when it starts working.
Another way of achieving this would be to use Widget Windows, and Simple Dialer Widget, both can be found on the play store.
Widget Windows allows you to create a floating window of any widget you have installed, you can customize size and transparency.
Simple Dialer Widget is just that, a dialer widget that is minimal in design and offers dial pad, call log, and contacts tabs.
Floating widgets created through Widget Windows can be minimized to an icon that can be freely moved anywhere on your screen. Tapping the icon will re expand the widget.
You can use another program called Custom Notifications to pin a shortcut of the Simple Dialer floating widget to your notification panel for easy access.
