[Q] Weird thing i noticed - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I noticed that there is a faint square around the menu capacitive button. I can only see it if there is a finger smudge or you breathe hot air and it and make it foggy. If its clean you don't see it a all...anyone else see this? is it a sensor of some sort?

Looked and look. Dont see it. But notice when it lights up theres a square aura around it. You could be seeing that is the right conditions or angle.

If a square can't be seen with the screen clean, does it really exist?

The first pic is when it wiped clean with a cloth. The other two are with finger smudges on them.

What setting do you use? Why?
I have a skin condition on the complete undersides of my hands (I believe it's called dermatitis or eczema) that causes them to be abnormally dry and peel thick layers off, almost 100% of the time.
Capacitive touch screens usually aren't sensitive enough for the weak current that passes through the tips of my fingers, but this setting, even with a screen protector, will detect one of my digits even if I hold it mere nanometers above the screen.
I also hated the jumpyness of swiping between homescreens due to 10 pixel movement detection. Bleh.
P.S. Did anybody else's Tapatalk favorites break recently? Mine just did.

Sounds like a stuck pixel. Do you have any pics of it?
No, I don't have a camera.
I don't think it's a stuck pixel though. The blotches cover nearly 1/5 Of the screen

Same thing happened to my gf's T-Bolt after she spilled liquid on the screen....
Wha but the thing has been in a cover the whole time. Never gotten wet damn.
I don't suppose there's any way of fixing it short of buying a new screen

Same thing on the moto x 2nd gen. Not sure what or why though...
So that screen doesnt scretch when phone is screen down
It's also to prevent covering the speaker and muffling it. You can still hear it when in your pocket on the sofa facing down etc.

Dual purpose. These.

Can these be removed and reattached easily for cleaning out the grills?
Probably protects the speakers from getting punctured as well. Triple purpose

grease under screen?

I appear to have some sort of weird grease on my Samsung S5 screen by the home button. The weird part is that I'm able to wipe it away with a lint free cloth, but once I start using the button again the "grease" marks will appear again. I have tried cleaning the screen with water as well as a mixture of 50% water 50 rubbing alcohol. I'm wondering if it may be a imperfection in the screen itself or something under the screen?
Here is a photo showing the marks on the screen as well as a photo after I have cleaned the screen.

Can anyone suggest another method to clean the screen or possible a reason why this may be happening in the first place?
I have the exact same thing. ive done some poking around and ive seen several threads of people with black s5s and this same issue. I wasnt sure what to call the "grease" some people were calling it a bubble under the glass but it all looks and sounds the same from descriptions.

What are these circles?

Hi all
I have had my phone a few days now and have only just noticed 2 little circles under the top grill on the right hand side.
I assume they have always been there as they don't look like scratches
Attached pic not the best but you can see them.
Anyone else have these?

These are NSA camera sensors.
