I'm certainly no dev but I do have some Linux knowledge and I was wondering what was involved in getting 80X roms to work on our Canadian 803 devices.
My objective of this thread is to learn on how to make 803 roms from 80X or at least to create awareness for other users that request rom support. There is no section for Canadian 803 roms so maybe this is a bit of a start
Maybe users can come together or meet on irc.freenode.net #lg-g2 and help out.
Suggestions and comments are welcome to move this thought forward.

Hey - Sorry for crossposting, but I'm not really getting any feedback or attention on the other forum, so I'm wondering if this is a good place instead.
I am trying to make a HardSPL for my LIBRA - As far as I can tell there's none available, so I've decided to put down my step-by-step method to get there.
I would love programmers' feedback, comments, etc. - I feel that my steps could be ported to other devices to provide a stepping stone for other members of the community to help out with development/testing resources for new devices.

i need someone to make a rom for me
Hi julian2596,
This forum is for folks who are interested in learning how to make ROM's for themselves for a specific device. This is not the forum to request someone to make a ROM for you. I suggest you browse the ROM Development forum for your device as you will likely find ROM's prepared by chefs.
Please feel free to drop by the Chef Central forum and ask questions once you have started your journey in cooking. Do make sure to specify the device you are cooking for as well as the kitchen you are using when asking questions; as cooking ROM's is device specific and each kitchen has it's idiosyncrasies.

With the release of the Broadcom drivers can have a stable MIUI?: Highfive:: Highfive:
please dont create threads for these types of things - specially when you are posting in the wrong section as questions go in the Q and A section NOT general section
the drivers give support for ics - so any rom that is based on ics in theroy can be supported
Posting things like give us xyz or asking for ETAs or anything else annoying will not help - in fact its the reason why most the devs left this forum so if you want want to help best thing you can do is dont post anything and just wait
Pls upload custom ROM for symphony w68. Mtk 6572
First, this is not a ROM request forum. Second, it's generally considered rude to ask a developer to make a ROM. Developers for the most part do this as a hobby, in their free time with no compensation outside of any donations they may receive. They do not work for you. You are welcome to start reading and researching how to build your own Android ROM.
Please do not make further posts of this nature.
