There may not be any correlation between the two but, It seems that when I connected my Galaxy Gear to my phone, that darn My Magazine app continues to crash or not respond. Is there a way to tell what could be causing this app to constantly crash?? Thanks everyone.

If not about the correlation, you'd better try 'Clear cache" of My Magazine in Application Manager.

Just recently purchased the S-View case for the Note 3. Since then, the Gallery app seems to lockup. When you clear the cache you get a little further, but lets say I want to delete a photo. It locks up and eventually says "Gallery has stopped responding. Do you want to close it?". In my pinion, this phone is junk and don't get me started on the Bluetooth functionality.

If it's anything like the galaxy note 10.1 there's some syncing bug that causes it to just stall for hours. I just use quickpic as the gallery app MUCH MUCH MUCH faster.
Hi,
I'm running stock 4.3 on my Nexus 4 (unrooted). Recently I've been getting this "No Client" notification popup at the bottom of my screen, it's independent of the app or window I'm on. It's driving me mad, I really don't know what it is.
Can anyone help?
Anybody with any clues? Ideas about suspect Apps or settings?
its one of your apps, 100%.
How do I find out which app?
you can uninstall your apps, then install them one by one until you find the guilty app. or you can go through all your apps settings until you find it.

I'm thinking I should look for an app running in the background? Or can the popup/alert show up from any app? Oh boy, I have a lot of apps, it's gonna take a while!
This is driving me nuts..ive uninstalled/reinstalled most of my apps..and i still get this nagging popup!!
Do you use "Android Widget Pro" ?
Happens on my stock Nexus 5 as well.
Happening on my stock Nexus 7 2013 more and more frequently. Hopefully someone can identify the guilt app so I don't have to rebuild.
And no I don't use Android Widget Pro.
This has been bothering me for months. It has to be an app but I have no idea which one. I have over 200 apps installed so although the uninstall/reinstall idea would be effective, it is not practical for me. If the message was consistent maybe, but its not. Anyone with less apps installed want to try?
Same for me on my Nexus 4. Getting insane!!!

how about a screen shot of what you are seeing? I'm not getting the popup on my N4 or N7.

I am getting this with my Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. I wonder what causes this. It makes Android feel unpolished.
I have this on my XDA 1. As i don't have many apps I'll list them below and see if you notice any the same. hope this helps/works.

I unlocked my bootloader, rooted and installed CM. Installing my apps day by day and the stupid toast started appearing last night. I'll try to narrow down the app based on the time of install.
Right now I'm suspecting Pocket Casts.

Got the issue on my 2013 Nexus 7, unrooted. I'm not using Pocket Casts, using BeyondPod as a podcast client.
How about greader pro? I've been reading on another thread that turning location options off then on again in Google Settings sorts the problem.

No not using that app either. Mine is becoming more frequent, its annoying but not annoying enough to do a factory wipe. Hopefully someone will narrow down the issue to an app or setting soon!
Wanted to throw this out there for those of you that use an Exchange email with the native email app on your rooted 10.1...
I noticed this issue once I rooted the device but to be honest I never really checked prior to; once the device sleeps and I awake it I try and entering the email app via a notification in the taskbar OR from the actual email app itself, the device hangs for 4-7 seconds and it tells me the email app stopped unexpectedly. However I can reopen once that opens and use the app just as normal from that point on. Now I should note the tablet runs lightning quick doing anything else and only crashes on the email app.
The only thing I can attribute this problem to is me rooting the device. I disabled some of the bloatware which was listed in the "speed guide" thread; Knox, Samsung bloat, etc.. I'll take a pic of the apps I froze once I have a chance so everyone can see. but without that, does anyone know what the problem may be? maybe someone experienced the same problem?
Any suggestions?

It has nothing to do with rooting. Rooting by itself doesn't change apps. It's the power that comes with rooting that sometimes affects things negatively. There are few posts about this. I bet you froze MyMagazine app, and it creates this problem. Unfreeze it and email will be back to normal. There are 2 "My Magazine" processes: you need to unfreeze "My Magazine 1.0.0" process.

I'll take the man.
Only Samsung software engineers know why My Magazines affects email.
What do you recommend if someone deleted my magazine instead of freezing it or making a backup first?

Hi guys,
I'm new here and happy to be one of Note 4 owners.
I am enjoying this phone for more then a year now but it started to behave strange recently.
When I wake up phone it goes to Internet page with adds or directly opens play store asking me to download app or game. I tryed restarting, pulling battery out (hard reset), scanning for viruses with Kaspersky. Non of those helped -it still does same.
So, do you guys know what issue is this and how to fix it as it quite annoying for me.
Thanks very much

I'm having something annoying keep happening. I will be using an app, no particular one and the playstore will open randomly on its own. Do I have a mal ware or something of that nature? I don't have any apps that aren't from the playstore. Any ideas? Thanks.
Did you possibly accidentally activate smart settings with Google Play Store set to open on any particular event trigger? I only ask because it often is something simple and subtle that I overlook in situations such as this so I try to put myself in the tech support guy role who starts by asking if your computer is turned on and plugged in as if anyone ever got stumped at this step before calling for help If not try clearing cache, force stop, disable and re-enable to see if it's just something like old files and crap gunking up the works. 9 times out of 10 that will clear up just about any odd behavior I encounter, assuming it is unrooted and/or relatively unmodified stock with trustworthy apps installed. Good luck and let us know if you do/don't clear the issue up so the quiet kids might be able to learn something valuable from your post

It usually happens when I'm using 9gag and I go to scroll down it will randomly open the playstore app and goes to random games. I feel like there is some kind of mal ware.
