The stock YouTube app just upgraded and whenever I watch a video I get a white square in middle of my N4 screen. Cant figure out how to remove it, probably something simple.
Anyone know how?

Same problem here. Have you found solution?
Clearing cache and app data won't help.

Do u have chromecast or TV that is connecting to WiFi? When that icons appears that means its streaming on the TV.

I know this is offtopic, but aside from the Connect TV feature, I've completely switched to Viral now.

Had my Nexus 7 for 24 hours know & its amazing but the I've only just noticed that sometimes my screen flickers & I have to lock & unlocked my nexus 7 to stop it, is this due to the DPI mod I'm using to give me a TabletUI or is this a fault?
Thanks in advance
Seems like its a problem regarding tegra 3 devices. It should be fixed in a rom update eventually.

Mine seems to flicker only when using Tapatalk. I haven't seen it do this on the home screen, browser or when playing games at all but every time I use tapatalk I see it at least once.
*edit* I also remember seeing it flicker when using the Facebook app.

So I'm watching youtube, and I have no seek bar, I can't skip into a video, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I'm stock 4.1.2 but rooted. Anyone know how to fix?

I think it might be their youtube channel, anyone able to test it themselves? Channel is androiddevelopers

So the YouTube app constantly will play, then load, then play, then load again. It doesn't seem to matter what WiFi connection I'm on. The video will sometimes preload all the way but still do it. Is there any fix for this? Thanks!

Ye, it happens, I think it's a problem of the app itself. It kind of happens to me too, but I haven't used the app lately.

After the last update it keeps needing to signed in. And I hate the loading issue, A video will begin to load, You can watch the video loading slowly staying just far enough ahead that it plays until the loading stalls and eventually the video stops to buffer. :crying:
Today I noticed that when I unplug my headphones I get a toast saying that it was disconnected.
This thing occurred today so maybe Google did what Sony did and pushed a few modified files over to all the Nexus 4's on stock without any OTA's or anything like nothing happened.
Does anyone with the stock rom get this today?
Go to http://flic.kr/p/fb5Uiy for screenshot.
Cannot upload image to XDA anymore for some reason.

I haven't seen that toast. It could be coming from an app you have installed and not the OS. Perhaps the Zoner AV you have installed.

Bluetooth is off so the icon does not show which is completely normal since Android 1.5.

I never said buttons. On my G1 there use to be a headset icon indicating headphones, I can't recall if my other android devices had it tho. The BT icon was an example to emphasize where hardware based icons go relative to the status bar.

I know the music player and video player also use dlna like example you can connect to wifi and stream music and videos from another device via dlna
This is nuts, it takes the equivalent of two hours screen time... And I don't even use it!
So the only way to disable it is by purchasing titanium backup?

Strangely the same thing just popped up for me. I've had the phone a week and never noticed dlna when looking at my battery stats. Today the phone appeared to be using more battery and dlna was the top offender for battery usage.
The app will not stop, I've cleared data and cache, tried to force stop and it just won't. I'm really not sure what is using it.
I added a lockscreen widget for the quick remote app yesterday night. I've removed that to see if it was causing dlna to run more, it doesn't seem like it should but who knows.

I wasn't either, but just today it started. I finally got the DLNA process to stop, going to watch closely and see if it kicks back on again.
