Hi,
Most importantly, what changes are you trying to do

I am trying to change the dpi settings with 920 text editor but if I change the values, the phone is stuck at the Lg boot screen.

I read your thread last night which helped me out a ton! My issues is with editing the build.prop. Once I restore my phone im back in business but if I try to change the DPI values to 380, I'm back to a loop boot. I know it can be done but for some reason I cant.

I've managed to install a transparent bar on my xperia, after changing permissions to rw-r--r-- and move the systemUI.apk it ended up with an error and i've restarted my phone.
After that, i have infinity loop. How to fix that?
I have backed up the old systemui.apk on my computer, but how to move it back there? >.<

SEUS - I guess the only option unless you can boot it up first. Not sure if there is any recovery exists at them moment. May be that might help.

as my understanding goes on, when you mess up a theme update and you get to a loop, you are probably done and have to re-flash your FW.
If it is force close then you can probably with some hardship put the original back. Did you try to ask the question in related thread?

Nope, i didnt ask yet. If SEUS wont work i'll search up for flash.
Edit: it started downloading, hopefully it will be fixed soon.
I'm so glad i took a backup of everything before i move systemui.apk and i wont lose a single snapshot or file.
I'll edit the thread later
Edit 2:
My phone is now brand new and un-rooted
xD
I'm going to re-root it again, remove bloatware and un-root it. No more playing with system files till a perfected recovery tool.
My heart was beating like crazy
Thanks for the quick answers
You are welcome. Glad to hear that your phone is back

You probably can't brick the phone forever. There is always a solution for it specially for this themeing but always be careful with what you do.
Good luck,
I installed this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.birdapi.android.dpipro&hl=da
It said that my density is 420(? cant remember precise) but i changed it anyway to 240 as my friend (with a note 2) changed it to that.
I pressed save to reboot. but it wont start anymore.
Whan can i do?
I am rooted and have touch recovery.
Maybe i could mount /system from recovery and change it manually. What do you recommend changing it to.
EDIT: Okay, i've tried my own suggestion. Went to TWRP and mounted /system. pulled build.prop and changed the density to 380. Pushed it in again and restarted. That didnt help.
Now i've downloaded the poweruser rom, took the build.prop and pushed it into the device. That still didn't fix it.
EDIT2: I noticed a build.prop.bak which gotta be my original build.prop that lcd density modder made. i removed my build.prop and renamed build.prop.bak to build.prop.
Restarted. but it still doesn't work !? Even deleted cache and dalvik cache. doesnt work??
stock dpi is 480 btw

Flashed some rom, now it works normally, changed dpi to 320 manually, now its awesome
Ok need help, im an idiot for not making the backup before I did something. But I used Rom Toolbox to change the LCD Density from 480 to 380 just to see what it looked like. When I change it back to 480 my icons and widgets are huge, I dont know what to do to fix it
I think if someone could just give me a back up of the build.prop tweaks I could just restore it from that. Please someone
Reboot couple of times

not a real big deal. so you don't have a back up, but your phone isn't brick and you must be rooted if you're using rom toolbox. Did you flash a custom recovery already? If you did, then just download a custom rom to your computer, and drop the zip on the root of your sdcard. then wipe everything and flash it; Unless your worried about loosing some data on some apps, but that is a small price to pay for not backing up.
Hello,
I am new here, I download Franco Karnal Pro for nexus 4 and I changed the color sittings, plus I updated the Karnal thing.
After that my phone got rebooted and now the colors are really bad, I tried to change the colors again but nothing help, I even Tried to make hard reset but also didn't help.
And also when i write the the screen keeps turning off and on very fast, sometimes the colors go back to normal for 1 second and then goes back again to this blue color...
I made a screenshot to show you guys, but when I upload it on the computer it seems normal and there is no problem at all.
I am very confused.
I don't know what to do! please help.

Did you make a backup of your original kernel? If so, I would suggest reflashing that. Otherwise, you can always just reinstall the stock images. Suggest using Nexus Root Toolkit to reflash the device images. (Backup anything you need saved first)
