so now that it's supports it I wanted to update to cwr from twrp
is there a zip that removes twrp and installs cwr
not sure you can do that...
why don't you just do adb fastboot push cwm recovery , or whatever it is ---

Doesn't the bootloader need to be unlocked to use fastboot commands?

Your topic says "rom manager now supports all LG g2" but I just downloaded it and it still doesn't support the D801 variant. Am I doing something wrong? I'm also hoping to replace TWRP because executing a wipe or backup takes very long.
Doesn't matter it doesn't work. I have been trying to flash cwm for vs980 and it never takes. Emailed Mr. Dutta and waiting on a reply.

Personally, I'd just flash them fastboot but that's my personal choice. Then flash the ROM, then GApps, then wipe cache/dalvik and voila - PA 4.3

It looks like it is not reading the directory with "ls", a recovery reflash should fix that.

Ok, download the zip files from that thread, on TWRP go to ADB Sideload, on your PC do "adb sideload [zip file here]".
Replace the "[zip file here]" to those zip files so you need to flash the bootloader and radio first so you replace that with the name of the zip file which is in the same directory on your PC where you have set the CMD to read from.
Repeat for the rom and Gapps, of course when you get off ADB sideload wipe the device.

Not 100% sure, but I think you can use the flash tool to put the old image on, root it, and either flash a non-stock rom or use Titanium Backup to freeze the update app and prevent it from re-updating. You can do a Titanium Backup of your apps first so you don't lose quite everything in the reflash (but be sure to move it to your computer, I think the stock reflash wipes out everything).

Ok, I finally got around to trying it (wasn't sure if I was going to keep the G2 or go for S4, but G2 it is. I installed the LG drivers (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_nizg6yUZ0NWnp5b2U2VkxKbFE/edit?usp=sharing) and followed the instructions line for line, didn't have any problems. Titanium seems to be working Ok for me. If adb isn't working, it's probably a configuration issue on your computer.

I used freegee to flash 2.6.3.3. Unfortunately, the version listed is 2.6.3.0 after doing so. I then used Flashify to flash 2.6.3.3, but I received an error and it turned to black. how did you upgrade from 2.6.3.0 to 2.6.3.3?
Sorry I miss spoke. The version of TWRP I have is 2.6.3.0. that I downloaded from freegee. If it's not working I'd try again as I did not do anything special and make sure the file name matches the flash version. I hope this helps. I am on ATT by the way.

Hey,
I went back from CM11 on my 802 to an old backup of stock rom, still had TWRP v.2.6.3.2.
The phone downloaded the OTA update automatically and when I rebooted it just got stuck in TWRP recovery. I tried the "go back to stock" but I get "the phone is not connected" at the LG mobile support tool. Don't know what to do now, tried flashing other backups etc. Can I somehow flash a new recovery in TWRP?

some people have managed to get the stock recovery back by using adb&fastboot or dd command&linux but it is complicated for people who have not done so before, the only other way to get stock recovery back is to flash the stock kdz/tot file loosing all data and returning to complete stock
I just got the D800 and rooted it. I went in to flash Energy Rom and it got stuck in a boot loop so I went into recovery and wiped it hoping to start from scratch. Stupid me not backing anything up. Install kouch universal adb drivers on your computer. Then go on twrp van click advanced and select adb sideload. Then download minimal adb and fastboot( look it up on Google). Then move the Rom you want to use into the same folder as the adb folder. Hold shift and right click then select open command line here. Type in "adb devices" to see if your device is listed. Then type "adb sideload YOURROMNAME.zip" make sure use the name of the zip folder you downloaded.

In addition, I would like by on recommend that you flash this recovery. All you have to do is go into twrp and flash the new recovery. Make sure you download the one that is for your device. With this twrp MTP is automatically enabled. You can move files to the SD card via twrp.
