Oh boy, did you flash the appropriate CWM that has been prelokied? The normal CWM from ROM manager might not have the CWM prelokied that is specific for the LG G2. The reason why you should be using TWRP is that it has been prelokied which allows us to flash custom ROMs.

edit fixed with dd if=/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p21
Good deal .you could've also just used Goo manager for
re installing TWRP or
Rom manager for CWM and then find your Auto loki recovery again

[Q] D803 Help!

Hello XDA Developers,
I had a device that was rooted on stock rom and recovery. What happened was that an OTA was installed and it went to the "boot verify certification" screen. I had to install Ubuntu to get TWRP running again.
I'm able to boot into TWRP, and I tried installing different ROMs, using adb sideload, from Stock ROM, ParanoidAndroid, and Madri-ROM.
The first one was able to install, but when I reboot the phone, I get stuck on the LG logo. I wait for an hour and it still does not do anything.
So now I try the other two custom ROMs, and I get an error saying "E:Error executing updater binary in zip "... .zip".
Then it reads "Error flashing zip '... zip'.
My question is: What else can I do to get this phone working again? I would like stock ROM, and preferably stock recovery back (Recovery is secondary).
Thanks in advance,
DaAznMan
Note: When I use adb sideload, the .zip file that gets transferred becomes a file called 'sideload.zip'. Is that correct? If not, what do I need to do to fix it?

[Q] updated CWM via rom manager, now there isn't any recovery

I had CWM installed on my T-Mo note 3, and I updated it through rom manager. now it is stuck in a boot loop where it says "booting into recovery".
I can get it to boot by going into download mode and cancelling it, but I cannot install any recoveries now. None work.
I installed CWM originally via odin. any idea on what I should do

Did you try installing the last one you had working using odin? Updating through the rom manager presents more problems than updating it manually using odin.

Can't enter recovery or update: boot certification verify error

I am on 6.0.1 CyanogenMod13. I haven't done a whole lot root-wise but just today I was looking to get something from xposed and it turned out I didn't even have it installed, so I downloaded it and installed it but needing to flash the .zip I tried to boot into TWRP recovery. Somehow it got uninstalled or something because I could only get into the LG stock screen asking if I wanted to wipe everything. So I tried to install TWRP using Flashify, I installed and on the reboot it gave me a "Can't Enter Recovery Or Update" and some more things about it on the top left above the boot logo. I can't do anything recovery-wise. I'm looking to sell my G2 but I want to make it stock or at least a clean install and I can't do any of that. What can I do??

This got me down to 4.4.2 but when trying to install TWRP it gives me the same Boot certification error and I can't
EDIT: I used AutoRec on 4.4.2 and I have TWRP working!
