Dead Trigger 2 - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

For those wondering, Dead Trigger 2 works very well with the 2012 Nexus 7 on max graphics.
However. I do notice some frame drops when 8-9 zombies are on screen.
Sixaxis also works with Dead Trigger 2, which is pretty awesome

I don't have one to test, but since sixaxis takes advantage of Android's native controller setup, I don't see why not

Have you tried ultra high?

there isnt any, just high and low

for very high you must have a modded apk. I tested it and it works good.

I noticed my sound doesn't work, any ideas?
I got it working. Also I had the sound not working problem either. It took me about 3 downloads to get it right. The way it worked for me Is when you load the game for the first time and it begins to download the content, don't let the screen go to sleep and you should get sound working. Also this game is bad ass on full graphics and a ps3 controller. Dead trigger is rally good too

What? They must be joking. The game should download fine whether or not my screen goes off.
So how do I redo it?

[Q] Bright question.

Hello guys.
I don't know if it is just me but I can't see a big difference between medium and max bright, you obviously can tell it changed a bit but it's not like other devices I've had before, although the difference between min and max is way bigger, just wanted to know if this is a normal standard thing or some kind of issue. Thanks.

Can confirm that. A bit weird that the other half of the slider is like doing nothing. Its like the volume slider on the galaxy nexus.. After the half, the music won't go noticeable louder... Weird... Maybe a 4.2 problem idk..

But after knowing that 4.2 brought a lot of bad stuff I think maybe this too... Only a guy or girl that had it for a few months can help us

Eye Strain?

Wondering if anyone else had this problem. After playing games (both tekkin 3 and hill racing) I notice that my vision is blurry and I feel kind of dizzy. This has happened 4+ times so far. What I did is lowered my brightness settings all the way to 0 but I still get the same problem (although I think its less severe).
Anyone please help? I dont want to have to change phones since I love this one and have bought many accessories (palm touchstone chargers, cases, gameklip, ect).
Hehe actually I do experience blury vision after im playing awhile

Lag city :(

I'm running a rooted, cleaned up, stock mf3 ROM and its just terrible in terms of lag. Scrolling anywhere is jerky and awful looking, pulling down the notification shade is like 10 fps sometimes. Is this really the best it can do on touchwiz? My other devices are HTC One GPe, N4, Note 2, etc...
They're all faster! Help!

My notif bar is always quick when I pull it down, even when I wake the phone from sleep then pull it down ...I think you just have to tweak kernel and rom settings a bit. Or clear cache...dalvik and app data. Quicker then the htc one from att I had..
Thats just your device man. Mine is smooth as butter, and always has been. I would double check to make sure power saving is disabled, and if it is, then your best bet is to factory reset and see if that makes an improvement.
Try @zepplinrox V6-SuperCharger script!!

I had practically no lag out of the box. . . so maybe your phone has a hardware issue.
(since rooting and flashing Shostock2.1, and setting animations to 0 my phone is quick!)
The condition you describe is not normal for our model.
Good Luck
i Had same problems or close to same.
i had phone freezing and also flipping home screen used to freeze I went back stock and re root and flashed custom rom close to stock and i seen no lag
Maybe try some of custom roms ?

I've run about 3 different Roms and I use the gs4 and One daily. The one is quicker. I know from reviews and Google searches I'm not alone in experiencing the lag. Maybe some people are more perseptive to it?
The Google edition ROM was quicker. I already have the Google play edition one though, so I was trying to use touch wiz. I'll see if I can video the lag.

Really? I found them quite adaptive. Especially since you can customize the layout of each individual button. The position of it on the screen and 5 different sizes for each button. Even the HUD map on the screen is customizable. I definitely couldn't rock the default controls on GTA 3 and Vice city for mobile. So I suggest you go into the settings

Haha for sure. Also in Vice City mobile you could boost performance and graphics/ draw distance. I'm not certain if you can on gta3 mobile, but you should check it out in the settings. Might be under "display". I don't have a nexus 5 yet, I'd imagine it would look very nice.

The Pocket isn't great, the Pro is good.
So I may pickup a moga pro just for this Badboy. I've been on the fence about it for a while now and this is definitely a game I would invest a controller for.

Same here. The new Moga Power series looks really good. They made it better than the v1 and it now can charge your phone while you play.
Ok that's cool I didn't know there was a new version. But I already have a ps3 controller so no point in buying something else. Unless there was something that attached to the phone like a slide case like the iphone one. Then that would be worth buying (except for iphone it costs 100 dollars id only buy it if it was at most 1/3 of that lol )
Amazon version is out now!! At least for the UK. I'm not going to purchase it from there though, I'm waiting for the Google play version.
