From what I am seeing in the forum if a noob like myself wants to use the international or carrier specific rom then we need to change the boot.img and some of the lib files. I am wanting to know if we can use something like aroma installer to create a patch that would flash the appropriate files needed to make roms work for the f320 variant. I don't know how to do this but am willing to help make it happen if it is possible.

The HK1 Custom rom converts the device to D802 in a similar fashion but resulted in me getting a soft brick and loss of Root access and a nervous restore back to good health thanks to the guys at Lg G2 forums.... http://optimusforums.com/threads/new-v1-hk-custom-rom-d802-based-100-english-for-cwm-twrp.9159/
I would approach this with caution..

Hello, I have an mb525. I recently put on the british retail 2.2 flash. it's great not to have the tmobile bloatware anymore. however, it seems to have killed my haptic and my 3g.
i found this posting regarding 3g, but i have no idea what to do with the flash files????
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=944258
I tried to post in it's posting, but xda won't let me.
I tried using them in RSD, and updating from the recovery menu. What should I do with these zips? Do i have to rename them?
Thank you,
A.

concern
I think if this isn't posted in the thread that I linked to, I will get no replies. IN the meantime the, I have no data, which is making life a little less convenient.
Thanks,
A

GOOD NEWS!
IT WORKS> THough, it was a long and tedious process to get there. For whatever reason the latest clockworks were rejecting the zip files for some Amend Script Edify Error. Well, I had to keep installing old CM"s until I eventually wound up at 2.5 and was able to install the script. (I also tried overwriting the system files manually) However, the true irony is that i still don't have 3g after installing the scripts : \
fail.
use defy baseband switcher and change your baseband according to your carrier and location

thank!
thanks for the reply! I'm going to give ADB one more try with swapping system files before I try the baseband switcher. Is the baseband switcher an application?
thanks,A.
Yeah, search in the dev sub forum

When I had my NOTE 2 - someone had created a flashable file that we could flash after flashing an International or Tmobile ROM.
Normally, after flashing those roms - The Build Prop would identify the phone as that carrier's phone instead of the ATT model I was using.
Flash the Fix and the phones identity in build prop was returned to what is normally is - so in this case, if we had it for the ATT S4 - we could flash a TMOBILE ROM and immediately after flash this and our phone would show that it was still an SGH I337 device.
I used this all the time and it worked flawlessly - I don't have the ability to create this kind of thing - but am happy to donate to someone who does?
I think a lot of people would get great use out if it.
Wouldn't it be simpler to keep a copy of your build.prop on your sd card that you can bring back over with a file manager?

I don't know - I thought there were other things in the build prop that were specific to the rom you were running - look - I am not a developer - so I can't speak to whether that is a good idea or not - but my gut says it wouldn't be -
This flashable file was created by someone - a developer - so there must have been a reason he thought it was a good idea - right?
All I know is that it worked well for me and I am hoping someone will be kind enough to do it for our phone too.
Hi there =)
Ive seen a los of roms and modifications for the LG G2 phone, mostly everysingle other number than mine, i have the d806 Argentina Latin America version i guess, and i havent been able to find any compatibility list or something like that to know wich roms (if any) of the other models can be installed on this one.
I would really like some help here since the bloatware haters (like myself) want to go to paranoid or a more stocky kind of android. Ive search the forum and the only thing ive found is the root tutorial on d802 working for the d806 but nothing about roms. If you guys can help me (and i bet a lot other too) out and help me figure out wich roms can work for the d806 i would be amazingly happy.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers.
Before you try this make sure you have a recovery and back up!!! I use international roms on my tmo g2. I do this by flashing the rom then immediately with a reboot i flash a kernal for my version. I would try this. ONCE AGAIN PLS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A RCOVERY AND A BACK OF A WORKING ROM! You can also choose to use your stock kernal my making a back up. And then flashing your backed up zip right after your rom

Hi I'm new to the forum so if I'm doing this the wrong way I apologies. What I have is a Verizon Note 3 phone that I had flashed to work with Stright Talk service. I want to go to a custom Rom but if I do it will it effect the Stright Talk settings?Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ed
No clue what your flashing since I had no issues with stock and straight talk. When I flash darklord rom android 6.0.1 I had to do some root file copies but pretty easy stuff.
Which rom so you want to use is the biggest thing we need to know to help

Macgyver40 thanks for replying to my question,I was thinking about using the CyanogenMod rom, unless you recommend some thing else, the only thing that's done to my phone is its unlocked and rooted, I need a help with a bootloader and where to get the right rom and of course how to do the root file copies Thanks
I used flashify to put twrp on my phone. Currently using 2.8.7 since darklord rom needs it. There is a good cm rom in general section. Updated a lot too. I use my spen so no cm for me.
