Hello again.
Will someone know how to disable transfer rate (Kb/s) that appears in the bottom of phone? together with wifi signal or battery
Is that not a xposed module?
I don't know.
I have seen that appears in some ROMS and other doesn't appear.

I keep getting the small flashing icon in the bottom right notifcation bar saying "Searching for GPS". I have turned off the GPS capabilities in settings and am still having an issue. Anyone else have this problem? Its sort of annoying when its constantly flashing and I dont want it draining battery or anything.
Lemme know!
Thanks,
Steve
same here. happened when an app need to access location.
Here too, but the GPS doesn't appear to be enabled -- the status just shows that an app wants to use GPS. If set to airplane mode or you've disabled GPS, you won't be wasting battery power.
Hmm thanks for the replys guys, the flashing icon is just annoying, thats all. I guess it doesnt seem to be effecting battery that I know of.
I wonder if theres a way to tell which app is trying to use the GPS?
Open Google Maps, then close it (go to home). It usually stop the searching of GPS sats on my phone with that method.
Hey guys,
did anyone notice, that after rooting and/or installing the google apps, the wlan is always enabled, even when you turn off the screen?
This is pretty annoying to me, because the battery usage is much higher.
With wlan disabled the kindle battery usage is pretty low. It uses near to no power while in standby but when the google apps are installed (and therefor wlan is always enable) i loose up to 10 - 20% battery over night.
Is there anything i can do about this? Is there a way to figure out what exactly keeps the wlan from shutting down?
Thx
You happen to find anything else about this? First I saw of it.
This is actually a good thing in my opinion...
Hey again,
teookie, yes i know, to one its a bug to the other a feature but i prefer the old behavior and save some battery.
And finally i found the root of my evil.
An unknown app changed the wifi sleep settings. Sadly amazon removed this option from the settings dialog so you have to change it by hand in the settings.db .
Have a look here:

In step 16. change the value to "0".
You can also change the value "wifi_idle_ms" (in the "secure" folder) to something lower e.g. "5000" (5 seconds), to disable wifi even faster.
Now everything works like before, the only missing thing is the app that changed it.
I fix my charger port and now my wifi signal is always low. i restarted my router and even went to different places it's always one bar or two.. and when i move it the bar changes all the time. does anybody know whats wrong with my tablet? like when i put it on its back it goes down to one bar. i factory reset and now im on the latest cm12 nightly and it's the same thing.
Hello everyone!
I've problem with switching mobile data on.
I've tried many custom roms and i thought the issue was gone after a week of hassle-free experience, BUT...
yesterday i used mobile data for 3 hours listening to music by Tidal, switched data off and i went asleep. After awaking, i tried to turn it on and the problem appeared again.
What's the problem?
There r 2 symptoms:
1. - mobile data toggle button is active (LTE shown in the left upper corner of the toggle) when i swipe down notification bar , but not on status bar (there is nothing, not even “x“, when i have data disabled, so it looks like it's trying to connect to mdata and it can't). Overall effect: there is no internet, even though toggle behaves like there is no problem, quickly shows this LTE in the corner. Toggling on and off doesnt help.
2. - i practice a lot in the basement, where's simply signal void.
during this everythin-works-week my phone had no problem with finding signal after exiting the basement. now it takes a looot of time to find an operator.
Solution for both, whats also strange: HARD reboot. SOFT reboot doesnt fix anything.
Anyone has a clue whats going on with my phone?
(currently i'm on AOSP-OMS-7.0-20161111-lux-nickv)
Hello!
I have my phone, 2 months, right now and compared with my previous G4, I like it(except the camera)
Now, I have:
- unlocked the bootloader
- rooted it with magisk (Super SU was loosing root from time to time)
- installed xposed
- use gravity box and systemui tuner for other tweaking
- Elemental X kernel 2.03
-build number 25.137-92, Android 7.0
Per general, it works very well, but still have some problems.
I have searched fixes for all of them, but I am writing here, maybe other have found a way to solve it, or they have a workaround.
1. random reboots. I do not know why, it seems they are not related to an application or something
2. if call is longer than several minutes. after I end call, the screen remains black. Probably an error for the ambient light sensor. is there a fix for this?
3. increasing ringtone. Can this be disabled somehow?
4. Very weak signal. And the biggest battery drain is related to the signal. Right now I have one day of usage, but I know that I would get more. Also, I had to move the SIM card from slot 1 to slot 2, because the signal suddenly disappeared
5. Reboot loop, when I activate GPS, and I search on Maps, and when I start navigation
6. WiFi not connecting automatically. I have to press quick tile, ant let it open until it connects to my WiFi
7. At some point the signal for SIM1 dissapeared. I had to switch to SIM2
8. In call volume was low. Every time I had to make it louder
I would like to remain to stock, because custom ROMs, have lower quality camera, and also heard that Moto application don't work on them (I use the fingerprint sensor for navigation and the option to turn on the screen when I take the phone in my hand)
