[Q] Nexus 7 Black Screen when Boot - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I honestly dont know what happened to my nexus 7. I turned it off during class and tried booting it up, but for some reason, the initial "Google" Screen pops up when booting, but after that I don't see any boot animation or anything. After a while, It would start rebooting on its own and I'm stuck... I tried cleaning my cache and devik cache and reinstalled the rom with a clean flash. I'm out of options. . . Help anybody???

Nexus 10 won't boot - solved

I tried (clean) flashing a droid concepts build over on droid-hive a little while ago and everything went ok when flashing. I tapped reboot system in twrp and the screen went black and didn't boot. I can't get it to boot consistently either into the os or into fastboot. It'll occasionally let me into recovery and I tried restoring a backup and also just rebooting from recovery and it won't boot at all. When it is plugged up, it'll show the charging icon when I tap the power button like it does when the screen is off. I've tried everything I can think of. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Edit - I finally got it into fastboot and I flashed the stock google image. Its working now.

I know the solution for everyone who is having Nexus 4 kit kat update stuck on bootin

Or the error that says finishing boot and its stuck there and then when you force close its stuck on boot animation
Here is what I did and this will work for everyone you need to go into safemode and when there you need to restore the settings and then click wipe all data
all this does is wipes your apps and data so it can boot fresh.
It is possible like mine to be stuck in boot loop again after doing this.
Wait 5 minutes and if its still stuck in boot loop then force close it by holding down power button again wait 5 seconds and turn it back on and wait a few minutes and it will boot guaranteed.
this method works on not just my N4 but 3 other people had the exact problem and it worked.
In my case next launcher was causing it not to boot.

[Q] Reboot & Power Off Problem

Hi,
I'm using SM-G900f with Fusion ROM.
I decided to reboot my device which normally worked without any problems. But this time it got stuck on black screen and I couldn't turn it on/off. I tried like 3 time and the same thing kept happening. Even when I just turn off the device it's still stuck on a black screen and doesn't turn off unless I remove the battery. I would really appreciate if anyone knows a solution for this or has information on what I'm dealing with. I tried wiping cache and dalvik cache but didn't help.
Thanks.
Got no answers here so I tested wiping cache/dalvik cache, system and install the same ROM on top with fusions TRWP.
I can now reboot to recovery atleast which lets me reboot/shutdown but I still can't reboot or shut it down normally.

[Q] does anybody else have these problems?

ok so first off this phone was brand new when i got it 6 months ago. no matter what rom i flash or kernel combo, my phone always ends up 'freezing' up on me. after sitting there staring at the unresponsive phone i will either yank the battery or keycombo reboot. upon trying to boot again it doesnt get past the red and blue writing about enforcing whatever just sits there. so i boot to twrp but it hangs at splash screen if i wait a long time it will eventually go but im talking like 30 mins. weird right? when i do get back in i can restore a backup or wipe, clearing cache and dalvik does nothing it just sits at boot logo. and flashing kernels does nothing. what could be doing this?
