I am currently on stock rom DMH8 unrooted.
Each time an app is updated from the market, i get this security warning and a message that "An Application has been forced to Stop, it may be safe to delete the app". WTF? All apps are genuine and from the market.
Samsung are seriously starting to annoy me with all these security measures. Does anyone know how i can stop this annoying message.

Factory reset it I've had this happen to me before on my S2, if that doesn't work then upload the current firmware back onto it using Odin. Unless you can reinstall the google play store that would likely fix it.

Hello,
I just noticed 1 hour ago I have 4.3 OTA update for my Nexus 10. However the update has been failed, due to vfxsound mod as far as I understand. I deactivated this app but I cant see OTA update again if I check the system updates manually it states that your system is current(4.2.2). What can I do to have this system update notification again?
My configuration:
rooted (supersu)
CWM recovery
Thank you.
Same here!

I can't update to 4.3 because of the same reason.
In my case, I installed both vfx and vhifi.
I deactivated and turned both of them into safe mode and tried to flash the update with stock recovery.
However, I still got "assert failed: apply_patch_check system/vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf"
There is a way to get the OTA update back, but I repeatedly failed, and ended up with error.
Someone please help us!
This happens because those files have been modified and are no longer the originals. Extract the files it is having issues with from the 4.2.2 factory image, replace them and try again, or just flash system.img from the factory 4.2.2 image and run the OTA again.
Edit: Also, to get the OTA notification again, go to Settings>Apps>All and force stop "Google Services Framework" then "Clear Data". Immediately return to the "About" screen and check for a system update. If any popups come up regarding allowing location services, choose "No" or otherwise don't allow it.
While the system update downloads, remove your google account, and re-add it to avoid any issues with sync, etc. on your google account. Keep in mind if you use 2-factor authentication via google, you'll need to add a new application password for your tablet.
I succesfully upgraded the system. As you said I replaced these file with the original ones. Now It works fine. The only problem is mx player doesnt work. I think they will update it soon.

Did you mean, "phone"? I can only speak for how this behaves on the Nexus 10. Also, if you enable location services (sometimes it tries when the google services framework starts back up) and you allow it, the OTA doesn't seem to show up (at least not for me, perhaps it's region-based?).
I had to redo mine several times while I replaced system files that had been modified, so I know it works if it's done the way I described. 60% of the time, it worked every time.
Also, try removing your custom recovery. I don't know how this affects things for the OTA but it's a factor I didn't have to contend with.
I'm pretty sure he meant tablet. I'm having the exact same problem on my N10.

I am getting an error after every app I install.
First I get the message:
"Enjoy your app! If you ever forget your password, we can help restore access to your Google Play library and purchases. Tap "Continue" to tell us how to contact you."
Then When I Hit Continue:
I get a blackscreen, the a force quit on com.google.android.gsf.login
Am I really the only one with this issue? I even booted into stock recovery and did a restore... Anyone else?
Bumb. No one else is having this problem?
Rooted yesterday, then reinstalled all my apps. Never saw this message. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen that message before in all my five years of Android use.
I rooted earlier today. I have not had this problem.

Uninstall the google update and let it reinstall, might fix it.
1: Bad form to bump after a few hours.
2: Were you completely stock when you did the original rooting? I'd suggest getting the stock ODIN files and flashing back to that, then retry rooting without installing much of anything.
3: I recommend using 7zip to unpack the files. I had issues with WinRAR, but 7zip worked fine.
Rooted mine last night, reinstalled a bunch of apps between last night and today. I've never seen that message before.

Sorry if it was bad form to bump, should have just changed the title. Anyways
It seems like that is working so far. Uninstalled the update for the play store, cleared data and I haven't had a force quit yet.
I don't even get where this message is coming from, and not a lot when googling the issue. Right when I would accept an apps permissions, this message would pop up, I hit continue, and it seems like it tries to open something but screen goes black. Have to re-open play store BUT it was at the last place i was, the app i just installed with the open button. Weird...
thanks you rock
Hey so I finally decided to update my phone to 4.3, I hooked it up with my computer and updated it through the Samsung Kies wizard. The phone was rooted. For some reason the update completely messed up my phone.
-- Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505--
I am constantly getting a:
The process com.google.process.gapps is no responding.
As a push notification I am getting (coming from Samsung Knox):
An application tried to run system on your device without authorisation. The attempt has been blocked.
(I literally translated this from my local language to English so it might be different)
I have tried disabling and re-enabling downloadmanager, removed cache from google calendar, google chrome, good play, google play services, gmail aswell as disabling all those notifications.
I am also geting a system is not responding error message now and then, same thing for 'picasa uploader" and some other system apps.
I have also removed triangle away and some other apps that were getting the crash report.
Has anyone ever faced this issue?
I really don't want to have to reset my phone, I can't believe an official update through Kies can bring so much trouble...
I can't even back any of my apps up since the phone is constantly crashing...
Thank you in advance!
This is on Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505
Installed Google Now Launcher for my S7E and rebooted. When the launcher opens, a pop-up appears and says 'Verification has failed. Try Again.' Keep pressing try, but I keep getting the same error message. When I cancel out of the pop-up, I can use the launcher but there are no apps in the app drawer. I'm at a loss here. Anyone else see this issue, and if so, is there a work around? Thanks.
Found the issue. Deleted Knox and the apps reappeared.
How do you delete the Knox? The option is gray out.
I'm getting the same error.
I deleted Knox through the Samsung Galaxy apps. It doesn't uninstall through Google. Hope this helps.

I have the same issue, happens on reboot. Wonder what it is

Just bought this phone from someone off swappa. I put all my apps on it, but while doing the setup I found that the Camera app and the Essential Resources app show updates available on Google Play. However, when I try to install them, I get 505 errors for both. 150 other apps installed just fine, but I can't install these 2 essential apps. Weird thing is, I checked the most recent version of the camera app available on the play store (0.1.067) and compared it to the one on my phone and it's the same version! Yet it says update on the play store. I looked for 'essential resources" under apps on my phone and I can't even find it at all.
Is it possible that the guy who sold me the phone modified the software somehow and that's what is causing the problems I am having? I want to update the essential resources app so that more apps can use the full screen.
Lastly, I tried to enter recovery by holding the power+volume down button when I start the phone. The menu comes up and I select recovery and all I get is a "no command" error along with the android with an exclamation point. Is there another key sequence I need to press at that point to get into recovery? I'm trying to clear the cache.

Just clear cache and data on play store application and see if that resolve your problem.

Did that. No dice. Also removed my Google account and readded it. Still doesn't work. I installed the whitelist editor and used the adb commands to enable it. I hope whatever the previous owned did doesn't prevent me from receiving OTA updates.

The best suggestion with this phone is to do a factory reset, and set up the phone as new. Don't install anything from a back up or another device.
I believe I found the reason. I bought this phone off Swappa. It appears it's running a test build of the software somehow. NMI75B test-keys. I believe this is the reason the apps don't update. I have no idea why the phone updated to this build OTA, but I've seen a few other threads here and on Reddit where others have this build also.

Has nothing to do with your build

I suspect it has to do with the playstore

Respectfully, I think you're wrong. I downloaded and have updated 150+ non-system apps to this phone without issue. Only 3 system apps won't download and update without giving me 505 errors. The 3 apps are Camera, Essential Services, and Essential Resources. I believe that the test build of the firmware I am using is the culprit. All 3 are system apps. In addition, I've already tried all 505 error remedies to try and fix the problem and they don't work for these 3 apps.
