SM-N900 there is no KNOX Void information in download mode ... - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I rooted my N900 with CF Auto an want to check KNOX trigger, but in download mode I got only below information but nothing about KNOX:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-N900
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
where can I see my KNOX Void information?

Consider yourself lucky and you don't have to worry about knox. I wouldn't worry, and TWRP custom recovery right away and enjoy a new custom rom

Yeah, the Exynos model doesn't have eFuse like the SD800 versions.

From what we know about the GS4 there is still a counter that Samsung can see despite what download mode shows.

I have the same phone, knox information dont show in ODIN mode
I have some questions
1. If I root my phone how to unroot later with the stock samsung official firmware?
2. If I rooted can I update later via OTA update to 4.4 kitkat?
3. How to install a recovery?
Thanks

[Q] SM-N900 International

Hi I recently root my note 3 SM-N900 with CF-AutoRoot, so when I go to Download Mode this is the information that it show me:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-N900
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
So I can´t see the Knox counter 0x1,
so I think that if it don´t show the information of Knox maybe it is not void the warranty, but I´m not sure.
now here are my questions
1. How to unroot and back to Official Stock Firmware?
2. If I unroot my note 3 can I use again Knox or not?
thanks for the help, and sorry for my bad english.
Have a nice day.
Flash the official firmware via Odin and it will unroot it. But I'm pretty sure if you used cf autoroot... Your knox will be 0x1

Ok I will try.
one more thing how can I update via OTA, when I try it say that it cant update because I have a Custome Firmware.
Man, you have the old Exynos boot loader which hasn't any knox flag, if you're gonna flash something make sure it's not the newest firmware (MJ7) via Odin or you'll update your boot loader which has a bit counter similar to the knox one, just custom Roms I'd recommend you.

Yea you'll be ok with this. It's the old bootloader

Whatever you do ."DO NOT UPDATE " . Continue using the same rom .once you update via OTA , YOU will never be able to downgrade to lower rom and worst a warranty bit will be activated which will make you loose warranty for life.irreversible

Flash rom via odin warrabty

Hi guys. I currently have Mk8 BTU (from Great Britain) and I want to update to ML6 ROM ( for Romania). Does this triggers the knox flag to 0x1? I want to flash via odin from Sammobile. Thanks!

Any advice?
Not possible to downgrade to KNOX-disabled firmwares/bootloaders (An attempt sets 0x1)
Even if you flash a KNOX-enabled firmware via odin (e.g. the latest fw) knox will be set to 0x1
Flashing unsigned or modified images via odin will set knox to 0x1
Samsung stated, resetting the flag is impossible
KNOX is mandatory and can not be completely removed
Warranty Void is no counter, it is a flag (0,1) it was never seen 0x2 or so
Mirroring all partitions from a clean 0x0-Device to a 0x1-Device via JTAG produces an unfunctional device (reversible by restoring the 0x1 partitions on the phone)
KNOX bootloader verifies signatures of kernels and recoveries. No custom ones possible without voiding the knox warranty
Ok, thanks

Mobile Odin Pro, Galaxy Note 3 and Knox counter

Hi !
I wanted to try the method to keep root after the NF4/NG2 update, and I get the Mobile Odin app for that.
But, while I launched the app, a message surprised me : launching Mobile Odin on my Note 3 will void my warranty ?... For now, my knox counter is at 0x0.
Is this true or is this only a misunderstanding ?
Thanks for your feedback.

Like how the Samsung website claims the Note 3 only supports up to 64gb of external storage.
It's a precautionary method that developers use so that they don't get complaints if it doesn't work.
KNOX 0x0 with MOP was a miracle procedure discovered by normal users. But Chainfire can't warranty it because if it does trip KNOX, well...he already stated it.
i falshed both update zips and firmwares (tar.md5) back in my 0x0 times with MOP and kept 0x0.
Remember you can either use MOP or Safstrap or you will be in trouble (backscreen after boot) - if you don't know what safestrap is, ignor this ^^
Okay
So launching this app won't void my warranty if I well understand.

How do I remove Custom System Status and Root and Stay on Knox 0x0?

As the title says I would like to revert back to Official Status, remove root and stay on Knox 0x0
I have 4.3 version, Knox 0x0, and I have reset to factory defaults and I do not have root now.
As knox is 0×0 it means you are not rooted.Just flash official firmware will solve your status.flash it wia odin.

No. False. Knox flag DOES NOT mean you're not rooted if it's 0x0.
The only times this is true is if root using a method that rewrites your recovery, such as CF-Auto-Root.
The only things that trip knox are unsigned recoveries (ANY custom recovery) and custom kernels (ANY custom kernel).

Ohh..tnx for correcting me.!But I think the problem is status of device. As knox is 0×0 there is no problem.knox is not triggered. Flashing a stock firmware changes the status custom to official. Please correct me if I am understanding wrong!

Correct. Flashing a full stock firmware AFTER a factory reset and wipe should return to official status, officially.
