doesn't work on n3
I am fairly new to Android internals and security policies but it appears many of us are having issues with permissions.
I am getting the "Prevention Information" message:
An application has been forced to stop for an unauthorized attempt to access system in your device

whenever I try to "Mount" in Paragon NTFS&NFS+.
I don't have this issue on my GN2, but on my GN3 I just can't seem to get it to work? What exactly has Samsung implemented to prevent users from using privileged resources even after the device has been root?

Did you restore paragon via titanium backup?
When I have that error message, if I run the command described HERE it sorts it

I don't even have Titanium Backup installed, I just got this phone lastnight.
Before we go any further, are you saying you are able to mount usb thumb drives using volume mounting softwares such as Paragon?

KNOX.
It causes the exact same error for S4 users on Whatsapp on older firmware versions (like those stuck with branded devices.) Even on pure unrooted stock.
Try freezing KNOX. There's a thread about that.

Hi,
I just now connected my Note3 to laptop (Win7) in the USB3 mode. Could explore folders both in the internal as well as the card memory. I believe this is what you are looking for.
Cheers!!!!!

Nope. That's just MTP, not mass explorer mode.

I 'm having a problem with a Note 3 Keyboard that I did not ever install. It keeps coming back. I think it's embedded in my phone somehow. I've tried wiping everything with factory reset, both from the ROM and recovery. I've used PIT files with firmware, and I have used the file manager in TWRP to wipe out as much as possible. However when I lboot up, I still find files with older dates on them from like a week ago. How does anythign stay behind? I don't understand this and I want this B.S. app off of my phone. It's not a legit app. Samsung told me there is was never a note 3 keyboard OTA for any model of S4 and that it should not be there. Can someone tell me how to really get my device back to 100$% OEM standards please!
I need help. This note 3 keyboard is eating my battery. It used to last all day, now I have to charge it two or three time a day. Please tell me how to truly wipe my device back to OEM. Thanks.
Backup what you need from internal. Wipe internal SD card and Odin back to stock unrooted.

so one thing that really bugs me that the samsung galaxy note 3 comes without the optical reader app that was on the s4 .. so I wanted to know is there any way to get this application rooted or unrooted , i am currently unrooted but if there is a way to get it rooted i will root but i strongly prefer unrooted because i am afraid to brick my phone or something .. I really need this app because i travel a lot at this time and i was lookig forwared to seeing it on the note 3 since the s4 but i was disappointed
Abbyy text grabber might be worth a look. So far as I understand it Samsung license the ocr technology from them anyway.

Lol that blue line isnt from this app. Its battery bar, you might have flashed a mod.

That's the problem that the line isn't from that app. Because signature recognition failed and mod cannot be installed. I think it is some sign of fail to installing update via stock recovery. For verify by the service centre. Just like knox counter.

You got usb debugging on ?
Is your computer recognizing your phone ? I would turn on allow unknown apps too
Make sure you have all drivers also I would restart phone while plugged in on computer and see if it installs recovery bootloader drivers also

Yeah my Mac is still too new to warrant a dodgy copy of Windows just now and dont really want to spend £70 for a copy of windowd just to root my phone.

My first thought is to reflash the stock rom through Odin as it will contain that file plus all connections needed for it to execute. Then re-root.

Thanx for the advice. One question, will this mean it will no longer be unlocked? My concern is because I live outside the US.

Shouldn't affect carrier locking/unlocking but I have no experience with that.
