Is there any to change how the pages change on the homescreen? I've been playing with the settings and haven't been able to figure it out. Thanks in advance.

Settings -> Custom Settings -> Rom Control -> Animation on or off type
i'm on CM11 and noticed G2 Xposed (who had this option) is only for stock roms, and on CM11 the navbar height option is greyed out.
Use gravitybox for kitkat and it has the option u need and several other cool changes

In notification drawer style>notification drawer background.
Did you installed xposed framework?. Gravity won't work without it

You also may try wanam exposed or xblast tools. Just download from xposed installer itself
