When the keyboard is open there is a settings button next to the space bar. Hit that go to advanced and turn off the sound.

My question about qslide is whether it can be opened up to all apps like how devs got Samsung's multi window functionality to work on all apps via root?
Is the qslide capability there for devs to tinker with or is LGs implementation proprietary? I would love to see slide available on all apps.
I'm also interested in this, and even willing to pay.
Maybe we should raise a bounty thread?
Could someone tell me the point of Qslide as opposed to using the recent apps button?

Yes using the Qslide app for texting while watching a youtube video may be very useful to you considering you can make the window transparent and text as your watching a video... think of it as samsungs multitasking but prompted differently
Qslide is not the same as slide aside. I think your confused with those 2.

I don't think so....although a developer might be able to create a ROM in the future for this.
Question: Can you force the home/back keys to stay on screen at all times? Like say if you go into the camera the buttons disappear. Is there a way to force them to be on all the time?
Yeah mine are on all the time.

They don't disappear on mine. However on mine the icons turn into dots sometimes, like in the camera. Not sure why.

Buttons stay or go away based upon the app you are using. Camera...they stay on. Netflix or any other video, they go bye bye. Varies by app I believe
Is there a way of doing this? I use Pie to get around as I want more home page real estate. Thanks in advance.

I don't know about the stock launcher but most launchers from the play store will let you hide the dock bar and they give you more real estate and you can usually change the grid size and icon size. I don't think we have these options with stock launcher.
