No one can help

You can try connecting your device to the computer and running an image recovery program. There are free ones online, Lexar and SanDisk both make them.
Your phone needs to be seen by your computer as removable storage. Then run recovery on that drive.
Being rooted has nothing to do with it.
Good luck

Sorry to say this but i think you lost the pictures.
But the good news is you learned a lesson, always create a backup.
Try syncing it with dropbox or google drive, or like me both apps.

[Q] How to fix SD card issue with files?

Hello everyone. I tried to search answer to this question, but so far found nothing.
This is known issue, when using Android SD build.
When I transfer files to my phone, the apps do not see the files. I have to restart my phone in order to see them. Does anyone knows how to fix it? I found ROM that I love, and it turns out to be such frustrating.
PS: I am also a noob, just got HD2 this afternoon.
Do you mean that you transfer them from your PC? If that the case it's worth checking if you not connecting to PC through Disk Drive, as this making "sd card" inaccsesible from phone apps. When you disconnect from PC, your files should be visible to the apps again.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
You can install SDRescan.

Sadly it doesn't work as well. I have to reboot the phone in order to get my files.
Some builds on sd dont fully support mass storage.

Download MULTI MOUNT from market, and use it to enable the SD to the PC (not the android built in function) This is a must for all SD builds! cause with the standard method you can corrupt your data.Multi Mount allos the phone and the pc to access the card at the same time with no risk

Storage capacity after CM10.1

hi guys
today my friend installed cm10.1 on my galaxy S4 I9505
after which, my internal storage available on the device is a total of 9.25gb and only 1gb is left free
can anyone help me figure out how to make the entire 16gb(minus the size of the CM10.1 software) available?:crying:

Only do this if you want to delete your nandroid of your stock ROM. If you want to keep that backup, move it to the SD card or your computer first.
Sent from your phone. You should be careful where you leave that thing.

You can always get it as n odin flashable .tar file that will restore almost everything to its original state.

Y ou could download one of the many pre-rooted (de)odexed stock roms here if you want to go back to official..
Or just do a complete wipe (system, data, cache) and install CM 10.1 again.

Try this from Google Play
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.defianttech.diskdigger
If that doesn't work try searching for UNDELETE on Google Play. Or come up with your own creative search keywords. You'll see a whole heap of recovery apps like thsi. These have varying effectiveness. 5 might not work, but the 6th one might work like a charm.
I've used apps like this before and they worked like 90% of the time for me. Meaning like 9 out of 10 photos would be found and be recoverable, but the 10th one had already been overwritten by other data. Nothing you can do about that situation.
In the mean time, don't take anymore pictures or download big files. Those could overwrite the spot on the sd card where the photos are located.
Im assuming these are photos of a beuatiful woman....so you can thank me if this works by sending me the photos.
Wohoo! how come u know that?

How about if you root it, put a custom recovery on it, flash a jelly bean rom, then mount the internal sd on the pc and recover the delted files that way.
Just be sure not to wipe the internal SD in recovery. Just wipe the data.

Restore a nandroid or push a rom.zip onto your phone through recovery and flash that or flash the factory image with fastboot

Wiping data should leave media and internal storage alone. So pics and stuff I believe should still be there.
You not coming from a really old ROM to new are you and the path has changed ?
As in the emulated sdcard/0 or whatever it is.

Recovering photos and videos after flashing new rom

So I did a stupid mistake of flashing the stock lollipop rom on my Note III from a Cyanogenmod version since it was too unstable but forgot to backup all my pictures and videos and now they are all gone.
I am desperate to get them back since I just got back from a 3 week holiday and took around a 100 pictures.
Is there any way I could recover any of them?
Thanks!
You can try RECUVA or any one of the similar products on Play store .

Thanks but unfortunately such programs only work on hard disk drives and the phone is not being recognized as one.
What to do?

Check on Play - there are any number of apps to offer recovery of deleted photos etc.
Also I am unsure why your phone is not seen as a drive when connected to the PC - maybe check how it is connecting? Click the notification that comes on the phone when you connect it and see what mode it is connecting in.

My phone is running lollipop so no mass storage device mounting option which limits my options.
The gallery pictures where on the phone's internal memory and not on the SD card so how can i recover those? The Recuva FAQ's don't tell me how to do that.
