The Only app that had worked for me, this was becuse no of the others worked for me, was - Key root Master MOD (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3quOOMmZ2qk) I didn't use this video for my guide but this shows you how to use it(as the app is in chinese).
My Steps were as follow:
Install the |- Key root Master MOD https://www.drive.google.com/open?id=0B_5mtquWAP3MWTduYktCajdYbU0, I uploaded it to my google drive.
1) Sideload the apk
2) Click the second button, Mulai Root and a popoup will show
3)Click the button that says root and another popup will show buttons in purple with 2 buttons (One red and one purple)
4) click the purple button
5) your phone should be rooted and have SuperSU installed
6) Optional: Use root Checker to check if you actually have root privileges
This was the only root Method that worked for me, as all the other ones didn't work:fingers-crossed: Good Luck

Hi, everyone. I have a LG L Fine since I bought it some days ago and I'm trying to root it so I can get rid of some apps. I'd tried PurpleDrake, but it gets stuck in "Waiting for device". VRoot gets an error and Stump won't work for my phone.
Can someone tell me how to root it? Thanks.

I've rooted it with PurpleDrake. You need to have latest LG drivers. Then you need to manually install SU and busybox.

Hi, I bought LG Fino with branded android 4.4.2. After first boot i made system update, and now I can't root my phone. Purpledrake shows me error (attached file). Yes, I have latest version of LG driver and usb debug is on. I tried also kingo root, and still nothing. Is it possible to root my phone?

Exactly. if anyone can help root my lg fino v10c? I have the same error as above mate.
If there isn't an updated tool to root the new version, then your only hope will be to find the firmware to downgrade. This is why you never officially update modded devices. This goes for Android, Apple, and pretty much anything else.

I was also unable but not the same problem (mine just wait for the phone eternally...). First I updated it to brand free V10e (from V10e Movistar-Spain) following this tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-reflashing-stock-rom-d290-d295-t3142456
I highly recommend this step because experimented an important behavior improvement. During the process I experimented some driver problems but were solved:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64589488&postcount=4
And then I use this method to root it successfully:
http://www.smartphoneclinics.com/one-click-root-lg-fino-d290n/
I think the tool doesn't differ too much from PurpleDrake one but was the one that worked for me. After uninstalling some bloatware and installing a new launcher (CM-Trebuchet) it feels like a completely different phone.
I don't know if this is approved by xda but Kingo Root actually worked on the D290n for me, and I mean the apk version, not desktop. Why not give it a try?
Hello everyone,
I've noticed that there hasn't been any threads about rooting the Xperia Z2 Tablet on lollipop. Most threads have discussed how to root the device on 4.4.4 and to create an update image to maintain your root whilst updating to 5.0+.
I've scoured the interwebs and found nothing so I'll make it easy for those whom don't know how to achieve root or don't want to do much work without creating images and such.
First off I'm not responsible for any inconvenience that may come with rooting your device and losing your warranty. I can and will be willing to help out in restoring or answering questions that you may have.
This method uses Kingroot... For those who have a problem with kingroot, it is only used to achieve root and this guide will also be showing you how to remove kingroot and install Supersu with ease. Using the link below download the necessary files: Kingroot V4, Supersume, XZDualRecovery 2.8.26. Place all these files on the root of your devices internal storage/SD card excluding Xdualrecovery as that needs a PC. (If you want to Xposed working I will also supply the files needed for that as well). https://www.mediafire.com/download/wrsajbgw2jr6czt
*Make sure you have unknown sources enabled under Settings>Security>Device administrators as well as Developer Options available and USB debugging enabled. (To enable Developer Options go to Settings>About Tablet>Build Number and click it 10 times).
1. Install NewKingroot.apk and run the application. It will notify you that a root method was found and to try it. It may take up to 2 minutes to achieve root. (If all you wanted was root and are content with kinguser then you're done! :good: if you want Supersu and/or a custom recovery then continue on to step 2!
2. Connect your Tablet to your PC via microUSB. On your PC open and extract the contents of TabZ-lockeddualrecovery2.8.26-RELEASE.combined.zip to your desktop. Now double click install.bat a screen will pop up providing you with options to install xdualrecovery. Choose option 2. Installation on ROM rooted with SuperUser by pressing 2 and enter. The script will run its course and tell you to grant permission on your tablet. Open up your tablet and a kinguser prompt will show asking you to grant or deny permission to ADB (Grant it!!!) afterwards your tablet will reboot on it's own to TWRP. (I advise you to either make a backup of the tablet now or after you install Supersu as insurance in case of any mishaps). Click reboot System.
3.Install Supersume, open the application and run it. It will of course ask to grant it permission (Grant it!!!) it will check the environment (making sure that there isn't any Pokemon nearby that you don't need... Sorry Pokemon Go reference) and it will begin removing kingroot and install Supersu. If you didn't have Supersu installed already great! It'll open up Supersu automatically. Supersu may ask you to update binaries (DO NOT click TWRP as it will reboot and you have to start the process over from step one!!! :crying: Just click Normal and once it says successful you're done! :victory: The next step is optional if you Want Xposed.
*Optional 4. Install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk. Open your app drawer and open NDR Utils. It will ask for permission (Grant it!!!) now here you may choose your preferred recovery... Philz Touch Recovery,TWRP or Clockwork Mod Recovery. Click Reboot to Primary Recovery (fourth option) once it's rebooted you want to click install>SD>xposed-v85.1-sdk22-arm-by-romracer-20160620.zip and swipe to install. You should get a success when it's finished. Now simply reboot and your apps will be upgrading. Congratulations you now have root with SuperSU and xposed! :victory:
**if you wish to uninstall Xposed simply reboot to recovery and click install>SD>xposed-uninstaller-20151218-arm.zip uninstall the application once it's rebooted and you're good to go!
***if you have a problem with Supersume not working, reinstall Newkingroot.apk and run it again to get root. Then run supersume again (Grant permission!!!) and let it run its magic.
If anyone has issues, has questions or needs help PM and I will do my best to help and answer all your questions. Please don't be discouraged because I'm new here! I will be soon adding a link to a video tutorial on how all these steps can be done!

Never had luck with kingoapp and today isnt any different
Thanks so much. I am away for another week but I can not wait to try this. I got a verizon z2 tablet since it seemed to be the cheapest 10 inch tablet. You have breathed new life in to it.

Power off device. While device is booting up at the Sony logo hold power and volume down/up (depends on customer recovery) until led flashes green and device vibrates then let go

That's great news to hear! I picked one up and wanted to root and I did on KitKat but when I upgraded to lollipop I lost root and rooted it the long way... Needed something simpler and couldn't find anything on here. So I wanted to make sure a guide was available to all. Enjoy and let me know how it went

If you're talking about your google drive, there is no kingoapp.apk in there
All there is:
- supersume.apk
- tabz-lockeddualrecovery
- xposed uninstaller
- xposed v85.1
- xposed installer
I downloaded the most recent kingroot, which worked on my Verizon sgp561, and then I used your superuser file to change over to su. Seems to work just fine.. I'm on 5.1.1.
I tried the most recent kingroot and it fails.
An old version gave me an error code of 0x162982

What is the software version you are having problems with?
So after a few days of work I've come up with way to root mm on d852.
Tested and works on:
D852 Bell
D852 Koodoo (Thanks to QuebecFanat1c for testing)
Sasktel D852 (Thanks to popcorn900 for testing it)
~ I do not own the tools provided! I just used them to achieve root ~
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-ZnsKWCK811R0ZXNmF5RE9Sa0k/view?usp=drivesdk
Steps:
1. Download zip and extract it.
2. Install kingroot .apk and click "try to root". It will take a few minutes but it will give you temporary root privileges.
3. Next install the AutoRec MM apk and let it backup and prepare files then click install twrp and give it root privileges using kingroot .
4. Go into kingroot, click the three little dots in the top right and go into " general settings". Now go to the bottom and you should be able to uninstall it.
Once it's uninstalled it may try to reboot your phone. If it stays black screen pull the battery out then reinsert it.
5. Now with kingroot uninstalled reboot into recovery by (from phone fully off) hold volume down +power, once the lg screen shows up let go then hold them down again after half a second. The reset screen will show up. Click volume down then power to boot into twrp.
6. Once in twrp flash the superuser 2.45.zip
Reboot phone.
You should now have root!
Check out this post for xposed framwork!

Xposed FrameWork .zip
Xposed.apk
Thanks mate, tried it on my Koodoo D852, worked perfectly!
Highly recommend this method, quick and reliable.
Hey, I tried this method, got to autorec MM step and then pressed the M. it immediately booted and now is stuck at the LG Loading screen the phone flashes green blue green and is just stuck thanks.

What model is your phone?
Sounds like a bootloop, have you tried pulling the battery and trying to boot again?
If that doesn't work you may have to flash stock lg firmware using download mode.

I haven't tried it on d852g. I only have the d852. I'd recommended making a lg backup to a SD or copying the backup to a PC then trying this method. If I doesn't work flash factory lg firmware from download mode, then update to the version you where on and restore the backup.
If you do try it and it works be sure to let us know!
Ok i will try over the weekend. Thanks.
Has anyone else tested this on the Bell/Virgin variant, and does it work? This seems like a good method, but really only have the OP saying to have tested it on my device model, and would like some more assurance before proceeding.

I'm pretty sure Bell and Sasktel are the same and this will probably work but, I'm not going to root this phone as it is working just fine with the MM update and I buy my app's so don't really see a need for root. Also I have never had luck with a rooted device ever lol bricked every single device I rooted. Thx for your reply though.
Works perfectly on d852g.. Just needs to updated in recovery(twrp)
@boho555 I took the plunge and try'd it on my Sasktel LG G3 D852 on MM and it worked flawlessly. This phone is now rooted. Thx bro. I further updated the TWRP and updated SU and further I installed Fulmics 5.3. Damn sweet phone now.......................... Not sure if I should install Xposed Framework. This rom for my phone seems to work very well. **confirmed working on a Sasktel D852** That came shipped with MM lol.

Good to hear! If you have TWRP just make a backup then try installing Xposed I'll add the xposed files to the post!
step 2, uninstall kingroot
*snip*
Steps:
1. Download zip and extract it.
2. Install kingroot .apk and click "try to root". It will take a few minutes but it will give you temporary root privileges.
3. Next install the AutoRec MM apk and let it backup and prepare files then click install twrp and give it root privileges using kingroot .

6. Once in twrp flash the superuser 2.45.zip
Reboot phone.
I have root, until I remove kingroot, then bam, back to being unrooted, followed your steps, waiting till twrp was installed and superSU was flashed, checked and rooted, removed kingroot and unroots.
D852 on virgin, MM kernel 3.4.0 software version d85230e
thank you, worked perfect!
only different is, if I uninstall Kingroot, the phone back to unroot. so I have to flash SuperUser after AutoRec, then updated SuperUser. after reboot, the Kingroot disappeared.
BTW, anyone know which ROM is the best and save battery for D852? thanks
So far so good! After trying two methods before this only to eventually give up, this one turned out to be the easiest and most straightforward (not to mention it seems to have worked perfectly!)
Model: LG G3 D852
Software: MM (6.0)
Provider: Virgin Mobile Canada
I have yet to reboot my phone after the last step but root privileges have been persistent thus far, even after removing kingroot.
Thanks for sharing your method!
[Update] Phone maintains root status following reboot with no issues. Thanks again.
didn't work for me, koodo d852 sotware version d85230G . Unable to gain temporary root access with new kingroot.
When I run KingRoot on my Rogers/Fido D852 it searches for a root strategy but comes back with 'no root strategy available'. I have Stock 6.0.
hi guys. I would like to know from your personal experience which is the safest way to root lg g2 d802t running 5.0.2 lollipop. I tried lg one click root but it was unsuccessful.
