I plug either one into my usb-otg cable (pictured) and... nothing. WEll on the blue one the light lights up red.
when i turn off the wifi and 3g data on my tablet, i get nothing, even using ping in terminal.
does anyone know how to make this work/what app to use to connect? I need it to access a wired router at work, as the wifi network is locked down.
Took me a bit to figure out what you were talking about. There is an Imito mini PC, I was using and I remember a kinda new network setting would appear. Never tried anything USB like that. I'll try it out though because I just bought a similar one recently and never unboxed it. Ha. Sorry for delay in response.

I know some people have reported issues with wifi, but on my dell I cannot connect to my router when its in N mode, but when I put my router in mixed mode then it cant connect fine, it doesn't matter a whole lot but I'd like to just keep my router in N mode to make things faster. Any one have similar issues or ideas?
The DVP dosen't support 802.11N:
"WLAN802.11b/g, Bluetooth® 2.1 EDR, USB 2.0 HS"
bummer, well I thought I saw it say it did on some site so thats why I tried
I know this is an early spec sheet but it does show that it has wireless n here:

Yeah that was pre-official release
Like, really early, because that mentions it as Windows Mobile 7 and is still called the Lightning, not to mention it doesn't look ANYTHING like WP7
I live in an HSPA+ area but my phone refuses to use anything but HSPA:10. I can't get an HSPAP:15 connection at all. I am using the HSPA+ 'phone' APN and my download speeds are acceptable (7-12mbps) but I feel like they could be even higher with an HSPAP:15 connection. Has anyone on AT&T been able to get a true HSPA+ connection?
EDIT: Well apparently when the connection is in use it switches to HSPAP:15. It only shows HSPA:10 when idle. Answered my own question haha
I was thinking the same thing till I looked while streaming Google Music

Yeah, it does that to save battery. I noticed the same behavior on T-Mobile.

hi peeps, ok, So I got the TF101 with the dock, and just got a 3g internet dongle. Now I want to open the dongle and fit it permanently inside the keyboard case.
Now Looking at the pictures from both the dongle and the open keyboard dock, it looks like it should be possible to mount the 3g dongle inside and run 4 wires from the dongle usb connector to the 4 pins on the USB port on the transformer.
Please can someone let me know if this will work or is there more to it??
Please see the ref pics.

Keep on going man...
Hey,
I'm a little bit desperate. Lately I got a problem with my USB tethering.
When I connect my phone to my computer and start the USB tethering that I have a terrible latency on both devices, when I deactivate it, the ping on the phone gets normal. The download speed is fine, just the ping is terrible, playing games is impossible with that.

On my phone it stays at 50 ms when not tethering. I already resetted my phone and PC, used different USB cables and reinstalled the original Samsung Drivers for many times.
I'm on Windows 10 and Android 4.4.2 Stock.
Hope someone can help me, because it worked earlier.
Thanks in advance.

My Friend and I share a network. So whenever he turns on his MI TV stick, everyone at our house gets a notification for shared controls. How do I turn it off? we tried using google home app method which we found on google but that does not work as settings screen for the said device is blank. My dad or my wife sometime stop the media being played as they were not aware of the situation. (My friend complained me that his videos keep stopping and he has no Idea why which was hilarious.). Though it does not affect me directly, it gets very annoying fast. How do I get rid of shared controls.
