Hey guys.
My G2 Verizon popped up with an OTA update this morning. I have TWRP and running the stock rom.
I clicked ok to the update and my phone rebooted into TWRP and no matter which reboot option i select it still reboots to TWRP. I CANNOT GET BACK TO MY SYSTEM. it did not update either fyi.
Any ideas to get it to atleast boot back into my system so i can use my phone?? i couldnt care less about the update at this point.
HELP PLEASE

anyone have a solution?
If you still get on the recovery you just need to reinstall a rom

You can try just flash a kernel first, maybe it will boot. Depends what happened. If that doesnt work then install a rom.

That won't work. Read the threads titled, "I just bricked my phone" or "I just tooj an ota and can't boot" the instructions on how to fix are everywhere on this site

Thanks! lol i know, thats my fault
I would like to root my Note 3 and try a couple different roms. I doubt Marshmallow will ever come out for this phone so I would like to try one of the MM roms when they become available. Any help would be great.

I too have the same question, I'm running stock 5.0 on my note 3.
Search the threads on Google you'd find it

I have tried to root a couple times and I can't get them to work. I have rooted and installed different roms in the past without a problem. I am sure Verizon is no longer going to sent updates for this phone since it is not a new phone but if I was able to root will that stop all updates if Verizon was sending them?

Unfortantely there are no rooting apps. The quickest way if you just want root, is to flash CF-Auto-Root via ODIN. This is quick and easy.
hello all, i have just found out about the new root method for the verizon note 3, i have rooted using team yemen Note 3 Verizon 5.0 ROOT Tool, i fallowed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjxIrsfT2Lo&feature=youtu.be for installing the jasmine v6.1 rom, my phone will not boot into recovery after flashing with odin, i had to reflash the stock verizon rom with odin and try again, still not working, can anyone help me out with flashing the jasmine rom?

I flashed jasmine with flash fire . Then i had to flash a partial firmware with odin. After the flash I couldn't enter recovery mode to clear the cash and factory reset it wouldn't boot. So I had to flash the stock Verizon 5.0 rom to get the phone working again

Are you on 0B6 or 0F1.? Just root reinstall su and busybox . Once that's done download jasmine 6.1 and flash with flashfire. .then it takes a long time booting with 4 icons across screen. Be patient. Then you could have fun

That partial firmware screws things up. You might have to odin recovery tar for 0f1

okay its still not booting, im going to flash the factory rom back to the phone with odin for the 4 time lol and i guess ill find a better way to install jasmine, my guess is either i have a corrupt .zip or something weird is going on with flashfire, or the way i rooted this phone is causing conflicts

davekaz, can you give me the exact tutorial you used to get jasmine v6.1 installed on the verizon note 3, my note 3 has the OF1 firmware, could you tell me what version of flashfire you used ? its bugging me that i cant get this installed, when some people can
V0.30 I think flashfire..Do you have verizon account? I allowed people to get files from my dropbox but now they limited my account.. have you been on rooted 5 for a bit? Jasmine is no big difference except for xposed

And they are in the midst of unlocking the phone so maybe just enjoy being rooted have you seen the thread for xposed? If you can put that on its the same as jasmine...I gave you all the steps earlier. .the only I could think of...can you screenshot your phone settings after you root and all?
