Rooted it last night using Dela Vega method. Tried to install system apps this morning and was unsuccessfully with utile unisstall apps (system app remover, root un install pro, root app delete, root uninstall) with sys app remover got message saying "system could not be mounted as Reed write" both those programs would stall/freeze aslo. I do have root according to root check and I've gone I to super su to see what might be the problem but can't figure it out.... anyone else had same issue?

Well I did at the beginning but then I changed the app I was using un install for root un installer from the market. Also I was able to un install only once I had disabled the app using app manager. Try it worked for me.
Good luck.

"Uninstall before updating"? Uninstall what? Adfree?
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
Yes, it clearly stated if you read about what was updated in the app that it was recommended to uninstall adsfree and then install latest version. I think people were complaining about java errors when just updating like normal.

The first time I rooted I had to reboot twice before TiBu would work properly.

If you see the SuperUser app, try forgetting TiBu and then running. Also run the preinstall method again.
Thanks for the help guys. Up and running with TiBu

once its installed hit protect root, when all the check boxes are checked you can update. After the OS update finishes go back into rootkeeper and hit the button "restore root" , thats it
I haven't touched the app and it doesn't have the protect root option. However, all boxes are checked. Should I be good to go?

Should have at the very least granted it root access. This is what it should look like though when its safe
Thanks! That's what I'm getting

You need to run the root program again with the ADB drivers. I had those same issues, Back when I didit , iRoot 6 allowed me to get back to Root, and then I updated to the better SU.
I tried doing that and it said superuser was already installed..can't remember verbatim, but it was along those lines.

Uninstall SU, re run the latest root ADB program, then it will not error out on SU, and you can install the better SU. Take your time, read, read, read, the instructions it will work.
