Does anyone else have this issue? When I click on the YouTube icon, it takes about 5 seconds before the app opens. It doesn't seem to happen with any other apps. Seems strange to me and I would like some validation that it's not just my phone. Thanks.

No its not your phone. Its every Android phone. It loads up the sync and connectivity before the app shows
That's annoying. It makes it seek like the phone is lagging or something.

It happens in HTC one also.

Is there any way to turn off the wifi message in the ongoing section of the drop down menu, when you are connected to a network? I can't find a way to disable it and its taking up precious space on my bar.

I beleive he's talking about the notification in the pull down menu that shows the wifi he's currently connected to, not the open network notification.
It bugs me too. I don't think we can take it off.

Anyone have any info on this, I have this problem too.
Same here. It's annoying.
So the YouTube app constantly will play, then load, then play, then load again. It doesn't seem to matter what WiFi connection I'm on. The video will sometimes preload all the way but still do it. Is there any fix for this? Thanks!

Ye, it happens, I think it's a problem of the app itself. It kind of happens to me too, but I haven't used the app lately.
Happen to me too.. worse part is I have to sign in all the time, when I launch youtube ._.

After the last update it keeps needing to signed in. And I hate the loading issue, A video will begin to load, You can watch the video loading slowly staying just far enough ahead that it plays until the loading stalls and eventually the video stops to buffer. :crying:
My YouTube won't play while on 4G. Whenever I'm on 4G I get the "connection to server lost. Touch to retry" message when trying to play YouTube. I have no problem while on 3G or Wi-Fi. I tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked. My phone is rooted, stocked. Only mod I have is the hotspot mod. Any ideas?
Thanks

Could just be a YouTube problem. It should work itself out eventually.
Love the 90s good times
Is the issue only on the app, or on the browser website too?

I hope so. I won't know until I go to work. I don't have 4G coverage at home.

You're right! It's just a YouTube problem because everything is working today!

Subject says it all. Nothing special. Using an AT&T LTE SIM, pretty standard apps. Reboots in various places, nothing obvious.
What can I look at to find the cause?
Thanks,
Cade

Did they ever fix Chrome Beta? I uninstalled that because it was causing random reboots.

Not using Chrome Beta
Does this app make your device reboot?

That's one of the first things I disabled, it's very buggy & runs in the BG all the time.
