I am sure there has to be a way to disable that notification and I know someone will figure this out. I remember when I played with it at an ATT store and it can't giving that stupid USB notification.
Freeze "Plug & Pop" with Titanium.

Just the screen, or does it power off completely?
Is it shutting off while you're touching the screen? If its turning off when you're not touching the screen you might accidentally be hitting the sleep/wake button. Or it could be your screen timeout. It may be set to a quicker time. Go to settings>display>screen timeout and check wha the time is.

It dose't shutdown completely but does Drop calls and Interrupts Typing text messages all menu buttons stay lit

Something's crashing. Start uninstalling your recent apps. Don't forget about updates.

I had that issue for a bit, I ended up restoring from a previous backup. Worked okay after that. My screen was shutting down/turn off. This also happened for a bit when I wasn't able to do a full for a day.
You most likely have a buggy app that is crashing the UI. I had this until I got rid of some crappy apps that wanted to run in the background that was for mapping 4G coverage.

Are there anything available where I can change how long the back light/lock screen on different power source. When I'm in my car and plug my phone in I want it to stay on longer before locking the screen.

You can set the screen to never shut off while plugged in
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
how do I do that?
Menu> settings>applications> devolpment
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
actually I know that feature exist. What I want is not for it to stay on for good, I only want it on for a maybe like 3 minutes while plugged in. I tried that but it got annoying waking up in the night to turn off the back light.
Well then idk. What I can suggest is a paid app called extended controls. it applied you to build a custom power control widget. You can have an always on button

extended control works great. thanks!
every time i search in the market, after i hit search (while having the H+ up & down arrows), i get a pop up saying
Attention
A network error has occured. Retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen.
then the up & down arrows will disappear. then after about 10-15 seconds, they reappear and i can hit retry and continue the search.
this also happens occasionally when i open the market.
the market is the only app i have this problem in, so thats why i thought it was the app not my connection.
any suggestions
edit: 4.1.83 update did not fix this
Is your battery management setting set to "Battery Mode"? This mode stops data after inactivity. Try setting it to performance and see if that helps. Also, could be a issue with the tower you are connected to.

I get the same thing. I am pretty sure this is a known issue with the Market app.

^ +1.
If you google the issue, it's spread across many different phones.

Hey,
Been running Oxygen 2.2.2 for a fair few weeks now without 1 single problem (love this ROM)
Today battery completely died, phone was left 2 hours without any charge and now I have no signal and as soon as phone boots it has a Dialler force close issue which comes back 2 seconds after I press force close.
Only by putting phone into Aeroplane mode does the error stop, but re-enabling still gives me no signal and lots of dialler force close.
Any advice?
Might need to reflash the rom

Tried it and still same,
Its something to do with the mobile networks settings......
As soon as I click on network settings I get instant force close error and menu goes back to main settings....
Also, I noticed the 2G/3G toggle in status bar settings is grayed out, something is messed up here, can't fix it
Fixed it for those with similar problem...
First, I put my Nexus S into Airplane mode and rebooted it. This stopped the force closes for me.
Next, I purchased Sqlite Editor and downloaded it from Android Market.
Using Root Explorer, I browsed to "/data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/" and opened "settings.db" with sqlite editor.
Next, I opened "secure" and deleted the value for 'preferred_network_mode'.
Lastly, I rebooted my Nexus S and all working well.
Thanks
Just noticed that the usb and headphone visual pop ups are not showing up anymore and I dont know why.
I am rooted and on the ota update (vzw) and now that I think of it my pop ups for quick reply sms isnt working either.
I have Ti backup and have frozen all the vzw bloat, Is there a setting Im not seeing that I some how managed to turn off?

LGStartup.apk and LGTangibleIO.apk are two that are required to make the accessories work. You may have frozen those. Try defrost and reboot.

You're also looking for Plug and Pop for the headphone/USB pop ups.

LGVZWSetupWizard_JB.apk appears to be related to plug and pop. If I delete it I get a plug and pop crash error every time I plug in usb or headphones.
There is also a setting under Accessory - Earphone that enables or disables the app panel when you plug in

ok I checked and i still had the Setup Wizard active as i wasnt sure what all it had control of.
I messed with the Accessory settings and none of those seem to do anything so maybe some how linked to that?
Its not a big deal that I dont have it but it just bugs me cause I dont know why it stopped. I have a second G2 with a broken digitizer and I have all the same apps frozen on it and even a few more and it still has the pop ups on usb/head phone not sure of the msg as I cant check that.
Okay so I played around with a few things and found out the app panel in accessories definitely does not change anything with this phone but my broken one the app panel pops up with whatever apps you tell it to include.
Anyone know where the stuff for that is,hidden?
Been searching no luck
Hello i have exactly the same problem !! Anybody found a solution ??? It is a problem software or material ?
Thx
Update..... I was able to get it working. After multiple Rom flashes the only way I was able to get it back working was by flashing the 10b kdz.
Also I will add that in Scott's clean Rom thread (vzw) there is a mod in the second post that adds the "accessories" that might fix it for others
