Hey there, I'm new to LG phones apart from the nexus 4 i had.
Just got the LG G2 from O2 UK.
My question is regarding the stock rom it has. It came sim unlocked to all networks and has absolutely no O2 bloatware at all, not a single app or mention of O2 on it.
The box however shows O2UK on the label.
I was looking over the forum at the "return to stock" thread which i always do on a new device before i think about tinkering.
I am confused as to whether or not the O2 UK LG G2 D802 is actually open?
When in the return to stock thread there is 3 Options for United Kindom O2UKD802, THREEUKD802 and OPENUKD802.
However both the O2UK and OPENUK both have what appears to be exactly the same D80210B_00.kdz file in them, making me assume they are both open FW?
And only the THREEUK has a different file/rom called D80210A_00_2.kdz?
Am i right in saying mine even tho from O2 has OPENUK FW on it?
My Software Version is D80210b-EUR-XX
Did a bunch of searching found a lot, read a lot, learned a lot. But cant find the answer to this anywhere.
Any help appreciated.

hi everyone
does anybody have a stock rom for virgin mobile. i want to try roms but dont want to lose my warranty so i need the original virgin mobile rom. i appreciate any help you can give. thankyou
The Vodafone website has a stock ROM which was recently updated.
Wasnt the Virgin ROM just a stock one? Besides, any manufacturing faults with the phone you get advised to run a software upgrade anyway, so just download the latest one from the HTC site. I have the Virgin HD2 and there were no modifications to my model, usually Virgin apply a link to the VM homepage but there was an absence of that in the 2 models I have had....
the one i got has virgin branding on startup and on the home panel. i have tried my serial number on htc site but it wont let me download.
i just signed up to the forum and need some help. i have been searching posts and have not found the right answer just other ones close to it.
i recently purchased a used HTC magic (vodafone UK) and it has been modded. i'm looking to return it back to it's original form with the factory vodafone software/firmware that it came with or the most recent version that it is currently updated to.
another question i have is that the phone is currently unlocked... so if i return it to it's original vodafone condition will it lock the phone back to UK only or will i still have an unlocked phone ?
i know you are all going to say "why ?!!?!" it's so much better rooted and modded. but to be honest, i'm not into the modding scene and i know i will eventually sell this phone so would just rather have it factory.
if someone could email me the rom and point me to a step by step instruction that would be greatly appreciated.
thanks !

Hi All
From my orignal post:
My 2nd hand Optimus was an unlocked Orange UK phone, but, typical of UK carriers it has all kinds of Orange apps on it, so I have decided to have a go at resetting the ROM as if I had bought an Unlocked Sim Free phone.
I was looking around the site and came across this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=935578
I downloaded the:
UNITED KINGDOM LG-E900AT-00-V10a-GBR-XXX-FEB-16-2011+0_DZ
Then Downloaded the 4 pieces of software in nasirahmeds instructions, is this right?.
Ive never flashed a ROM before, so is there any other guidance you can give me, Such as the LG USB driver.. should I use the CA20 or the MA20.. they both look the same. I use Win7x64.
Thanks

OK.. reading further down that thread.. all the questions I wanted to knows have all been answered, so ill just follow that.

Hey there,
first of all, english is not my main-language.
So I got my Samsung Omnia 7 repaired because I got this ****ty Bootloop-Problem. I googled this problem and I found various Thread that said "go flash it!"
So I flashed it with an old T-Mobile Firmware.
Well...I contacted Samsung and they got me a new one today (they repaired it). So it's working again but now I have the T-Mobile Firmware on the phone which results in having a Netlock. So my E-Plus Simcard isn't working anymore.
I've already flashed the phone once again with a custom ROM but there's still a netlock. Simlock, SP lock etc. are all on "disabled", only the Netlock is "enabled".
So...Is it even possible to "unlock" my phone with a custom software? I mean...it was fully unlocked...then I used this ****ty T-Mobile Firmware-flash-thinngy and now it's locked. Do I have to pay for this Unlock-Code? Or can I flash it "away" with a special custom ROM?
Would be nice If someone could help me out here!
Cheers and thanks in advance
EDIT :
I got this T-Mobile firmware my Phone has a small "Orange" Logo on it's back and the manual was in french so I think it's from Orange France....so there's no Chance to get in contact with them! Got the Phone from ebay last year!
Hi guys, I have this S4 GT-I9506 simlocked by Vodafone Spain. The issue is that I can't get it unlocked, all the free methods from the GT-I9505 don't work (by the way, I also have a GT-I9505 and succesfully unlocked it with one of those methods), also tried the paid company Doctor-SIM to get an unlock code, but they gave me back the money as they couldn't provide it. I also requested Vodafone for the code, but being the crappy company it has always been, they "have send a request to the phone manufacturer for the code, please stand by" 5 months ago...
Already searched all the threads, googled it, tried everything...
An Android version 4.2 and 4.3 are listed on sammobile (https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s4-lte-a/GT-I9506/ATL/), but not aviable to download (and yes, looked for it not only on the Vodafone Spain filter, but also on quite a lot of them), and so far couldn't find them to download. May one of the tricks from the i9505 work on any of them??
Is true I found this: https://www.needrom.com/download/i9506-xxuamhe_vfgamh4_v4-2-2_repair_firmware/ It claims to be Android 4.2.2 for the i9506, but I don't really trust that ROM. I know that as far as you can get to download mode you can install any original ROM / Recovery, done it hundreds of times, but still I don't know if this ROM may break my phones ability to get into dowload mode (just seems odd that lots of people have issues unlocking this terminal and in none of the threads I read this ROM is mentioned at all).
Of course, I also looked on other Android forums, but no luck.
Thanks, and if this was already answered or something, sorry, but couldn't find it  (wich is strange given how long simlock discussions are about the S4).
After the 5 months, long time after I gave up waiting for Vodafone providing me the liberation codes, they just send me an e-mail with them this morning. Phone liberated and working normally now.
