Is it possible to remove the brightness toggle - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

From the notification bar, while keeping the volume toggle?
I'm using lux automatic brightness control instead of LG pathetic automatic brightness, so their brightness toggle at the notification bar is completely not necessary...

Do you mean "xposed framework"?
I thought about installing this, in order to also reduce the navigation bar size. The thing is, in the official xposed thread the creator recommend first doing nandroid backup.. Is installing xposed dangerous? How should I protect myself?

Think you can get an app which will display the battery percentage in the notification bar.
Yeah I am aware you can get an app that will do this I'm asking if it's built in the stock setting as it is in the gs3.

If you do the two-finger swipe down (like with the notifications, but with two fingers) it shows the quick settings. The percentage is listed in there. I don't think it shows it by default in the notification bar, though.

Anyone know of a way to change the double tap home screen to Google now?

isn't that more of a kernal option?
I honestly don't know but I want it badly

It is not a kernel option. You will need root, you will need to remove or freeze S-Voice and then use an xposed app (can't remember what) to change what launches with a double press.

Nottach Module will fix that. Install Xposed, then Nottach, and you're set.

Home2 Shortcut in the play store will also do that. Just make sure you disable Samsung voice whatever in the settings>app menu.

Do either of the apps above allow you to set any type of shortcut for the home button (long-press or double-tap)?
Some apps require that S-Voice is still enabled.

If Nottach is not working use wanam xposed module. Other way is to install Nova launcher and configure the option for home key binding.

[Q] Statusbar transperency

Hi, I wonder is there's a way to make the status bar transparent on custom backgrounds. I noticed that the transparency adjusts automatically on the wallpaper.
Is there a way to make it full transparent like in the stock" basic" theme without using root??
Custom wallpaper attached

The navbar don't count in as a display for picture
Little hard to explain. The navbar area on screen is like "buttons" and not "screen"

^^ That
But fullscreen movie will play at 1080x1920
Or you can hide navbar / reduce navbar size (but will need xposed)

Clock on left side?

It's that a custom Zip that will put your clock on the left side of status bar? I'm running Flex Rom
Sent from my LG-D802 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
you should link to a picture or something. lots of clock widgets out there that could be moved to the left side of the screen... just not sure what your looking for.
He means the clock in statusbar. Via g2 xposed you can Center it. Maybe ask the dev for a possibility for left
