When will kies support my phone.

When will kies support my phone. It is shameful that everytime you click on application in kies it keep poping up that this phone is not supported.
It had been months since launch.when will they fix this? Also it would be really nice if kies would allow you to organise your app in the application screen as well as implement some sort of folder system. Over 11 pages of apps. It is starting to look like yellow pages.

to ask the stupid question that I think you're smart enough to have already done since you have lag fix and other fixes...
you have the drivers installed, right? I know it's automatic, but some people didn't have success with the auto-install and had to go a manual route.

Well this isn´t such a stupid question since he asked when the Galaxy S will appear in Kies for the Samsung Apps and it will be possible to download apps directly in Kies and not only with the Samsung App Store on the phone.
But unfortunetely i can´t respond when Samsung will implement Android Apps in Kies. Maybe there are to less Android Apps for now, so there is no need right now for this.
Upon re-reading, I think I misunderstood the question almost entirely. So, there are two issues, on is the platform. Samsung apps are largely meant for Bada. However, there are some Android apps as well. But there, I think Samsung's apps are mostly regional dependent, and it depends on carrier stores prevalence in the area.
They probably reached agreements to not offer Samsung apps in areas where carriers have launched, or will launch an app store of their own, and Samsung will integrate into that. There are at least 3 countries I've heard of this being the case in. I wouldn't expect the fix you are hoping for anytime soon, but you can look to see if your carrier has a store that contains the Asphalt 5 and other apps that Samsung has available for distribution.

Found something

Have adw or launcherpro installed, make an activity,(menu-add-activity)
Scroll down the list and there is something called samsung apps. Anyone know what this is for. It opens but its says its empty
Sent from my never been rooted, stock Froyo Epic.
That is also what opens when you try to update the Camera framework...
There is also a Samsung Apps file that is shown in Titanium Backup.
I wasn't sure what it was so I didn't want to freeze or delete it.
I am pretty sure Samsung uses this on their dumbphones to push software updates. The structure is there for updates to the camera and the like, but it seems like they haven't turned on their backend.
samsung apps will be a place where you will be able to buy apps that are similar to those found on samsung tv's, ex. netflix, hulu plus ext..... this feature isn't out yet but dont worry samsung working on it and will release it asap, which means next year...

How to check if S8 is hacked

Hello Community,
I think my Samsung S8 is hacked, well it has been some time crazy.
My 4 connection sensor for LTE, 3G, 2G and so on, plays around. It is this little thing on the upper right of the screen. It stopped one day..
Seems a bit crazy, but the police isn't answering a application.
My Instagram changed too I can't see the List anymore which other people liked.
I think someone wanted to troll me first, but then sent me to the police or smth. **** happened.
I need someone to tell me if the process list is right, or if there is something that shouldn't be seen there.
For example: com.samsung.faceservice. , Face , out of nowhere came the "transfer data to other phones" , the phone is in German, one process is new: "settings suggestions"
Some process can't be stopped, so I writed a really really long text to the "hackers" . And then I just deleted the process and it worked...
I'm thinking a lot.
Can You help me?

The best bet is if your bootloader is still locked. No root. Then if something is on your phone a simple factory reset will wipe it. Unless a phone is rooted nothing can be installed at the system level. I would start there. You may have some form of spyware or something installed. Check in application manager at the bottom of list for any apps the may not be named. As in space at the bottom but no details. I have i installed apps before that apear not to show in apps list but they are there

there is a video from Marques Brownlee where he discusses some ways that apps have been allowed to get thru the play store that do exactly what you mention. Apps getting installed and the icon disappearing or changing its opacity to 0. This is more-so for the OP, but several of those apps download more parts to the app that then act as spyware. But the mad scientist is correct, if youre not rooted, no system apps can be installed. Go to your apps list and look for stuff that doesnt seem normal and uninstall it. Android wont let you uninstall system apps when youre not rooted, so thats not a worry. Even if you do uninstall system apps, all you need to do is reflash the firmware with the "HOME_CSC" so it doesnt remove anything, instead just overwriting the system stuff. Basically its a mulligan, which you can do over and over and over. So there isnt really much fear of hard bricking these phones. Soft bricks happen frequently, but theyre mostly just a time waster.

How many Samsung features and services can you disable on the note 20 ultra.

I really like the hardware profile of this phone. I am not a fan of all the Samsung apps and services. I know that defeats the purpose of buying a note 20 ultra, but at the same time. I don't think there will be an android phone released this year that will actually compete with this power house of a device. While I am currently in the iPhone camp, I am looking to switch back to android. I have yet to find a phone that makes that permanent and I always just go back to iPhone. I am asking this because that was the main reason I never kept the note 10+, had so many issues with their services and apps that after a few days I said **** it and just switched back.
I know there are some things that can be done via adb to remove and disable certain things on previous samsung devices. The question is how much of samsungs bloat can you actually disable and remove from this phone?

You can disable or uninstall anything you want with adb but once uninstalled you may be up a creek without a paddle. I am proficient with adb but I us Package Disabler Pro from the Play Store. If you disable something important just go back and re-enable it.
I've been using adb since the T-Mobile G1, back then you had to use adb commands just to get a screen shot. Package disabler pro has 3 tabs - bloat, system apps and apps you've installed.
If you read about how to uninstall chinese apps from chinese phones, you will xome across a post which explains how to debloat from adb. Try it if you want to debloat
PD MDM package blocker, buy direct from their website for like $3.99, not it's on Playstore. Uses little battery or resources as it runs at boot in the background.
You can block or unblock apks as you wish and set a widget to turn off/on selected ones.
Playstore is one I do this with as it's always busy in the background. You can block carrier software updates so unwanted firmware isn't jammed down your throat.
I have about 60 blocked apks.
It will block all bloatware and many system apks however not all of Knox and Samsung Pay.
You can kill wittle Bixby, amen. However the cam needs Bixby Vision and Bixby Vision framework to function properly.
Rarely does malfunction but if it does you will need to disable it as system administrator as it will run in Safe Mode too. You can save your blocked list for future reloads or refreshes too.
Without this app my unrooted Samsungs be a complete mess... it's my favorite apk. It gets loaded first.

That picture you attached brings me hope!! I ran into a lot of issues when I tried the note 10 will all the different crap it has you set up. Had to factory reset in less than 24 hours of having the phone to fix issues with Samsung services mainly Bixby and smart control services. I honestly like the simple ass turn on iPhone use iPhone setup. I miss having the little things around like changing my icons. I miss tasker the most, that program is stupidly powerful and had some really useful profiles setup.

Samsung has the most customizable non-rooted phones there are. Apple doesn't come close.
It comes at price though as there's a lot to learn.
You need to play with it, a lot.
The Good Lock apps especially One Hand Operation+, custom themes and hundreds of free icon packs are some of the Samsung Android perks.
The 10+ is my first phone to have the memory I need; 1 tb.... hell yeah.
The bad part is unlike Apple there can be conflicts caused by the many different software's and hardware's.
A reload is ok; the next load is always better.
I'm on my 3rd... my SD card is the data/backup drive now. So I won't need to upload near as much the next reload.
I backup all my apks for the next reload to save time and in case they go playstore extinct.

If you like to tinker, you can also use substratum to theme your Samsung now. You need substratum lite and synergy to make it work. Been using it since the Note 8, the current instructions are toward the end of the thread.

Remember to save a backup copy to your SD card and/or computer in case the OS crashes and burns. It's rare but it can happen especially if your loading new 3rd party apps.
It allows you to backup system apps/updates too.
Occasionally you want the 2nd update to a system app but the 3rd one is buggy and the factory loaded version is inferior to the 2nd update; no problem if you saved the 2nd or whatever version!
Unfortunately if the app doesn't allow you to export the settings data your boned. Apps like Poweramp fortunately do, it take a lot of work to configure it, lol I keep a couple backups.
Also explore Demo Mode. You can stop animations completely to get even more speed as well as other system tweaks. Get Samsung's Sound Assistant to dail in the volume settings.
As for 3rd launchers be warned, those reloads I talked of were caused by a 3rd party launcher.
Put the phone in a boot loop.... twice.
I've tried a couple launchers but none ran as good as the native Samsung one. It's fast, reliable and isn't a power hog.
You're going to have a lot of fun... I'm still learning new things about my 10+ and Pie.
The 20 U is a very capable Android
This is what my stock 10+ looks like.

root lg g6 to remove bloatware and google?

bought a used g6 to stay on 7.0 -I just dont like the multi colored gui with menu pop ups when you want to move an icon. and the menus wchich are all grouped
not a fan of google. so looking to remove as much of google as possible from the phone.
no graphene no lineage as they are new android version which I dont like. the grouped settings menu drives me crazy.
in running processes there is "locationservice" that cannot be disabled? and why does the quickmemo+ run so many background processes?
what can or I cannot delete of google on the phone.?
anyway to get back 7.0 that looks like the right image? it now looks like the right image but with the multi colored bozo the clown show. horrific. im not into 10000colors for clean looks.
I need to disable that lg smart doctor and persistance to update softwares. I want to remove that stupid screen shot notification in drop down swipe..
I dont need many apps from the play store.
whatsapp, waze and a photo editor and a non spying notepad to write things. thats it and still too much.
browsing is almost non existant for me on the phone. no music player.
when ill get my pinephone the transition will bring me less stress.
I have some privacy concerns so hence me disconnecting from google. FB is long gone. no social media. too fake. no gmail. no drive. no cloud.
any help would really be appreciated. I need to do this
for me threat level is the 5 internet giants.
