I can't get the lg world app to work on the At&t variant of the G2. The only reason I want it is to download theme icons. Any ideas or work around? My model number seems to be the issue because I know of it works on the int'l version

If you are rooted you can install Unicon from Play Store and then you'll have access to hundreds icon packs made for most popular launchers (Apex, Nova...). It works for stock LG Home launcher as well.

This is Nox icon pack. Btw, I've installed custom recovery as well. Not sure if it's necessary for Unicon to work properly. Hopefully someone will chime in with answer.

Please disregard my posts. Funny me. I thought that LG Smartworld is a theme. LOL
Good luck with your agenda.

First option. Xposed is a must.

Thanks for the replies. I haven't rooted because I'm. I'm not set on LG yet.

You can use Desktop VisualizeR to change your icons to any packs you want. No rooting required...download in the play store along with any packs you want. Super easy.

I didn't know that. Thanks. Btw, I use Nova launcher almost all the time. Just posted my home screens. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45831386
I've been looking all over the market and have not found one. I use to use adaway but now I can't find it.

Some Adaway action for you. Still works great, just not on the Play Store anymore.
Google "Adfree BigTinCan"
I can't post links yet but that's the app I use. I've had better success with that than Adaway.
Or go to adfree dot bigtincan dot com

Yeah Google removed all ad blockers from the play store. Even Rom Toolbox pro changed its app and removed ad blocker from their program. But I also like the bigtincan ad blocker. It's free, but you must be rooted.

+1 for bigtincan. I use it and love it and they update it very frequently.
adaway google it
Hello, is there a way to put that quick settings from cyanogenmod in Stock Rom? I want to slide down on the right side to enter and would like to have a torch and want to enable wifi with a finger tip...

Xposed Framework & GravityBox[KK] module.
Also I believe WanamKit module would let you do the same.
Be aware, Xposed isn't compatible with ART so you won't be able to enable ART with Xposed installed.

Actually I think this is exactly what you were asking for. It's a suite of changes and tweaks. All of which you can customize. As far as I know there isn't a quick one-shot app to do this, but if you're willing to tweak, its the answer you're looking for.
I want some for ART

Yep, GravityBox has QuickSettings management where you can customize which tiles are there, the order they're in, how many tiles in a row, etc. It's one of my favorite tweaks to date.

So did you flash a rooted stock rom?
Id like to keep mine stock as well and gravitybox
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Yes. I flashed Stock, unlocked bootloader, rooted and then installed Xposed Framework and GravityBox. That's all and it works perfectly. Just wait for the 4.4.2 camera mod and a working volume boost and then is everything perfect.

I thought the volume mod was already updated. Anyway, I switched from that mod to VIPER4Android FX, which is SO much better! It makes the speaker sound better while also making it be able to play much louder without distortion.

I tried v4a too but every time I close the app it will force close the effects. What's your settings for always enable v4a?

I had this exact same issue! Uninstall the V4A driver and uninstall V4A. Copy the .apk to /system/app and set permissions to the same permissions the other apps in that folder have. Reboot. Open V4A (which is now installed without opening the .apk), install the V4A driver when prompted, voila!

How do I make it so that when I tap the WiFi toggle it turns it on/off instead of opening the WiFi app. Can I do it by decompiling systemui.apk? If so how?
P.S. I don't want to use a custom rom.

You can use XPosed framework + Gravitybox. It's worth rooting just to get gravitybox, trust me.
Thanks for the reply. I don't want to use xposed, as I want to stay on art. Is there no way to decompile systemui and do it?

I don't know if there is an app that exist for this, but that photo looks more like a custom rom, AOSP. I'm on CM11 and i have this same thing on my status everytime i download something.
