Worked fine here
TA on I9500
IF TA does not work on I9500, is there another program that can reset the counter. Also if not, is there a way to reload EVERYTHING on the the I9500 to stock standard. Sorry for asking this , but I just started to learn about XDA, rooting.......
There is no support for these types of processes in Namibia, and not even Samsung can help me here. I know more than them.
If I can't get my phone back to normal, then I will go ahead and rather load 4.0.3 on it. Is 4.0.3 available for Salmsung Galaxy S4 I9500 yet.

Isn't the S4 on 4.2.2? Why would you want to jump backwards? And no, no one has got Ice Cream Sandwich here. Its all Jellybean from here on. Were you looking for 4.3 instead?

As far as I know, there isn't a TouchWiz 4.3 for the 9500 yet. But if you are fine without Samsung's add-ons, you might want to try out something like ParanoidAndroid or SuperNexus. They are available in the i9500 Original Development Section. Cheers!

Hi i got stock android running on my tmobile s4, someone made a rom taken out of gpe s4 with everything untouched.. But i cant find a rom for at&t s4 for a friend of mine..stock 4.3 from gpe s4 , closest i found was a slim version.

I'm not sure about completely untouched GE roms, but kangabean is an amazing GE rom I recommend that.

Of course there is an untouched GE 4.3 ROM. Just download it from here:

It's from the i9505 forum, but it is the same phone, and works fine. I am running it myself.
Just make sure you already have a custom recovery on the i337 first. I prefer CWM because it auto loki's your ROMs for you.

Actually there will be changes..... From Knox Sh#$Ft to other bootloader lockdowns.
That's the biggest concern trying to get 4.3 without updating the bootloader

Looks like when Samsung do an update to 4.3, it's probably going to have this new secure boot loader with the Knox security. I'd rather stay with a GE ROM for now for 4.3, as it's cleaner and doesn't have this problem. As least if something goes wrong, I can revert to stock and keep my warranty. So personally, Samsung can keep their full TW crap firmware lol

i think that owners of a i9500 will have more roms, maybe even a oficial cyanogenmod...
surely with the S4 being a flagship phone they will keep it up to date in line with the Note 3. like people say though, the worry is getting 4.3 and 4.4 etc without any Knox junk or locked bootloaders etc. Been there with locked bootloaders with HTC and i dont want to go back there again!!

There's never going to be a stable release of CM for the 9500 for the same reason as the 9300: Exynos.

You cannot flash 4.2 on 4.3. You can go to a best buy Samsung experience and they might be able to flash 4.3 again

Hi, okay, so I've had my phone rooted for awhile.
I have a At&t Samsung Galaxy S4 sgh-i337mf3.
I've been using a minimalist rom given by someone on xda.
I love it, but now I'm thinking, is there something better.
1. Can I flash roms above 4.2.2 (i.e. 4.3, 4.4.2)
2. Would I have to update my phone using some odd technique?
3. What technique would you recommend for my build?
