[Q] Stock browser proof reading and charging notification sound? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
A couple of quick questions:
1. Is there a way to disable the stock browser's automatic proof reading? It seems to understand English only, so it's pretty annoying when everything is underlined in red.
2. My previous Samsung phones made a notification sound when plugging in a charger or a USB cable. Note 3 just vibrates a couple of times. Can I somehow enable this sound?

[Q] Bug for quick setting whilst charging from AC

Hey all, my N4 is great, no problems at all, no buzzing or creaking, no dead pixels, very little light bleed etc (touch wood!) but I have noticed a bug.
When doing the 2 finger swipe on the notification bar to access quick settings it doesn't work when charging via AC. It starts to pull it down then jumps back up and just clicks what ever is under your finger at that time; you end up opening all sorts of things!
Everything works fine and dandy when charging from USB or discharging; it's only when charging via AC.
It's really weird, has anyone else noticed this?
My N4 is fully stock but rooted.

[Q] [LG G2][5.0.1]LED bugs

Hello everyone,
I upgraded my device from kitkat to lollipop some time ago (to 5.0.1) but lately i've had some problems with the ROM. These bugs are mostly not very annoying, but the LED bug is. Sometimes when i get a notification and read it, the LED doesn't stop flashing till i turn off LED notifications in the settings menu. This is also for charging battery (phone is charging (with red LED) -> fully charges so LED turns green -> I disconnect -> red LED still on). This counts for both front and back LED.
How can i fix this? Is there a fix at all? Or do i have to wait till further updates on the device?
MartinoNL
PS i find it weird that you can only turn off the notification led for charging for the front LED, not the back LED
PPS i am a phone noob so explain stuff a little bit easier if things have to get complicated to fix
for me, when this bug appears just put the phone in do not disturb mode and put it normal again, the led stop blinking

thanks for replying and yes this is indeed a temporary fix but doing this (or switching the LED notification on and off) gets quite annoying after 25% of the notifications. that is why i want to fix it. i dont want to turn the led off since i do want to see the notifications

OTG support and other questions

Hello, in interested in this device but I have some doubts about it. I've been reading the ZTE forums and searching info on internet but I can't find an unanimous answer about the otg support, so can anyone confirm the otg support on this device?
Other question is about the LED used to notifications. I read that the led in this device isn't a RGB led and you can't choose the color for a specific app notifications.
Other issue related with the led is the timeout. Is it true that led turns off after some time?
The last one is about the ring bell in the lock screen, I know that in the axon 7 now is optional, is the same in the mini?

I have used a USB-C to USB-A adapter and it worked. I don't know if it's OTG persay but I used a keyboard without issue. The LED does appear to be RGB but it is not customizable within stock ROM. I have not had the LED time out on me. The ring bell is still there in b21, but you can tell it to show notifications by default.

Thanks for the reply if you use an pen drive let me know if it works.
The customization is not a problem if it works properly so I'm happy to hear that the time out is fixed. Compared to other phones is the LED brighter or average?
I have another question about the ring bell, if you have enabled the notifications it shows the art cover and the music controls??

Unfortunately I don't have a thumb drive handy, otherwise I would test that out for you. The LED is about as bright as I would expect. I have my phone next to my bed and it doesn't wake me up.
If you push the bell or have it set to show notifications by default it will be like any other lock screen notification implementation, it doesn't change the background of the lock screen to the album art, at least to spotify, I don't know about the stock music app.

Disable Charging Led on Rooted Stock Nougat

Hi!
Is there anyway I can disable charging led on rooted Nougat?
The green led lights up to the roof when the batery is full. I dont want to disable all notifications, only charging led.
Thank you

Maybe something like that? Take the stock LED functions out of the picture, and use a program like that to handle all of your notifications.
Being rooted, you should be able to find way more powerful / configurable programs than the program above. One program that kept popping up was called "Light Flow".
Sometimes the best way to change the stock behavior is to bypass the stock all together.
Tapatalk for Android - Works awesome on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
thank you!!

Galaxy S8 notification vibration is short and often doesn't happen

I've had a Galaxy S8 for a few months now. Right from the first, notification vibrations have been intermittent, short, and perhaps even weak. I have vibration intensity turned all the way up and when I drag that slider I feel the vibration easily - but when I get a text message or an email, I usually don't even know it, even with my phone sitting right beside me on my desk. All of my prior Galaxy S phones (and other phones, too) had strong, lengthy notification vibrations. I've been through all the main settings multiple times with no success. Can anyone recommend an app or other solution to lengthen or otherwise strengthen my notification vibrations? Perhaps some secret Samsung menu somewhere? Sadly, I can't root this phone, so that's a limitation.
