When using a bluetooth keyboard with android, i miss functions for ex. alt+tab, custom functions for keycombinations, ex. select all by pressing alt+a
A program that runs in background while the bluethooth keyboard is running would do the job.
I think pro user would buy this program.
I am using a Bluetooth Keyboard more often now with my Phone and one problem that remains is that if i need to change from using the onscreen to the bluetooth i have to go in to settings and disable the on-screen Keyboard.
or else every time I select a text field the keyboard will pop up.
The 3 solutions i have considered are as follows:
1. Create a toggle Widget that will disable/enable the on-screen keyboard (OSK)
2. Change androids config (permanently) so the only way to access the on screen (OSK) keyboard is by Long-Press MENU.
3. Make so, when a Bluetooth HID Device is attached the OSK will not auto open.
-- Sorry i have searched but found nothing, and personally i have no skills in creating this solution---
I have found the following maybe someone else could do something with this:

Now that I have a BT keyboard for the nook, I'm looking for a one-click or automatic solution for using it. I'd like to toggle between keyboards if possible, or have it autodetected and auto-switched.
Anyone know of a utility or script that can do the awesome?
I have a project in mind that will run on a device that uses Android 4.2.2 with a full USB input (works with keyboard/mouse) . I am wondering if I would be able to use this programmable USB key stick: http://xkeys.com/xkeys/xk8.php and program an app that will respond to key presses on the stick.
I'm very new to coding (read: I have no idea what I'm doing), but I want to know if it is possible, or if it's going to be an exercise in futility if I try it? Thanks in advance!
+1 to this: I mapped my scancode to android keycode (media and so on), but how can I bind an APP to a specific usb key?

I have Uggos X4Q tv box with Android 11 and Deco LW pen tablet connected by USB to it. When I move stylus over any menu items, I can see changes of this items (lighting), but no pointer cursor. Cursor visible only when I touch pen to tablet. In some apps I can configure displaying pointer when stylus in sensor range of tablet but not touching it (hover event, I think). But it work only inside app. How to change behavior of stylus pointer across OS? I would like to make stylus pointer behavior like classic mouse pointer. May be exist some OS settings to force it. I have a root rights in OS. Or may be exist easiest way to do this by writing app or driver for it? I mean, simple logic in selected API methods, etc.
Please, help.
