I tried searching it on Google and it seems to point to the Hong Kong and China market, I don't know, just a guess, pretty sure its not any different than other models though, I'm sure they all have the same hardware.
The LG-E960W is the white version.

Hi,
Am planning to buy a N1 (from ebay india) to sink my teeth into Android (not just the app development part).
Just wanted to know if there are several different models of the Nexus one out there? And if so how to identify each.
Also as I'm getting it off ebay wanted to make sure I was not getting a fake. So does anyone know how to identify if it's a fake when I receive it?
TIA
Theres only one model of the Nexus, the Nexus One.
How to tell if its fake... i dunno. Maybe the ebay description :-/

Check out the FCC number on the back to be sure whether you're getting the 850/1900/2100 version or the 900/AWS/2100 version.

Do this! Make sure you get the right version for you!
(FYI - if you don't care about 850/1900 vs. 900/AWS, you should know that the 850/1900 is no longer available, so ebay prices for it seem to be $100-$200 more than the AWS version [which can still be had as the dev phone from google])

jeez, dude...understand the question!
And also it'd be good to know if it's the AMOLED or SLCD model. You can tell the difference by the way it looks booting up in a dark room. What I don't know is, are there any differences in the model #s written on the back of the phone for the SLCD models?
Thanks for all the info folks.
But is there any info that I can ask the dealer (from the packaging etc.) to determine if it is a genuine piece.
And any way to confirm its the real deal once I get the phone (while booting or something)?
Just trying to be careful as I can't afford to waste too much (still studying ), and I don't want to get some cheap chinese fake.
TIA

If it's a knock off, it's not going to be genuine Android, so it'll be obvious.

I'm having a different problem related to identifying the model. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18426549
I just noticed that there two different model numbers:
GT-P8110HAEXAR
GT-P8110HAVXAR
Does anyone know the difference? I am assuming that the former was manufactured earlier. Or could it be for different countries?

One for retail channels, one for Google direct?
16GB and 32GB?
I don't think so because both that I saw were 32gb unless it was a listing error.
Maybe google fixed some of the problems in a newer model but didn't say anything so they don't look bad?
Sent from my Xperia Play (r800x)
Hopefully im posting the the correct area.
Im looking at buying a used nexus 4 to replace mine.
Dumb question maybe to some but are they all the same model number? E960
Are they all the same as, use with any carrier?
Also, mine is in english and im the ones im looking at are in non us speaking country. Will the phone still be in english or no?
Anything to look for when buying used?
Hey guys, I just made this video. tell me what you think, I know theres a few rough edges, but im trying to be more professional on my videos.
Heres the text if you dont want to watch it
International
Hey guys and welcome back to another video, here in my hands are 2 oneplus
one smart phones, like i said in my unboxing video one of them is a chinese
version and the other is an international version, so what exactly are the
differences? lets find out
So i'd just like to start off and say that spec wise you get exactly the
same in both. which includes the 5.5" 1080p display, snapdragon 801 processor
clocked at 2.5ghz, 3gb of ram and so on
the differences are minor, so lets start off with the OS.
The intertnational version comes with Cyanogenmod 11S, which is specificly
made for the phone while the Chinese version comes with the very chinese
Colour OS. which doesnt inculde the google play store any google apps. this
is very easy to change thkkough, installing CM11S onto the chhinese OPO is as
easy as flashing any other stock rom on a phone.
Turning it around we see that the 16gb chinese OPO has the white back,
which is what the international 16gb version has as well, the only difference
being is that the chinese OPO doesnt have the cyanogen logo on the back
because of like i just mentioned it comes with Colour OS.
Now inside the phone is where its a little different, the two phones come with
different bands for your 3G/4G. ive done tests and both 3G and 4G work here in
the UK on either EE or Three networks, if your on o2 or vodafone youll have to stick with 3G
If you're in america, 3G/4G works fine in america if your using the internationa model but
only 3G works with the chinese version.theres also a few threads on XDA where theyve managed
to unlock a few other bands to work as well, which ill leave under the like button.
thats all guys, theres only a few differences so if you havent got an invite
but you want one now then by all means go
for the chinese version. if you wanna know where to buy one without an invite,
thats coming in the next video.
if you liked this video then sunscribe so youll be able to see when i release a new video,

Bought a silk white chinese version, the box said it's 64gb but AFAIK it only come in 16gb.
I am finally clear about that, thanks.
So I am thinking of getting a note 4 but in the UK it's the F version but I was thinking the C version looks better...snappier and possible better functionality with lollipop later? Is C the only other safe model in the UK? I see it seems to be the only one with the same features for connectivity.
Also would I need to do anything to the phone to use it in the UK? Anyway would be good to hear from anyone already using a note 4 in England etc.....Thanks.
Oh and also wondering if any other models are ok...

Go with the F model, it works great on Lollipop...no need to desperately search for the C...
Yes hmm I know it's goodi just thought at one point the exynos would become more useful. I did see someone had used both and listed multitasking between apps as better which attracts me. And possibly some kind of 64 bit stuff kicking in one day?
