When unfreezing apps/widgets it says it`s done but the app or widget doesn`t show up, not even after a reboot?

pls explain what to back up?
Titanium Backup PRO
You can defrost all frozen apps using a batch script from Titanium Backup PRO. You can't defrost individual apps, just defrost them all and then, froze what you want. The feature first appeared an week ago. The only bad thing is that this is available only in paid version.
Do a backup of the app, then uninstall it via titanium. reboot phone and restore the app.
same here.
Check out my blog, I'm explaining the unfreezing issues on the Galaxy Note:

How to disable the Sprint OTA update on LG980ZV8

how do you disable the Sprint OTA update, I don't want to update the phone at this time, because I heard the modified version for the OTA is not smooth yet.
I don't want to accidentally update it and screw up my phone.
I tried to uninstall the Sprint Installer with Titanium backup, but the notification is still there.
thanks
nevermind

[Q] Best method to stop 5.0 update on VZW?

I have a rooted G2 on VZW and would really prefer they leave it alone. No custom recovery so I don't have /system access to add/remove/del apps. Is there another way to block this update?
Sorry, apparently this is a minor update, not Lollipop yet. Still interested in blocking all updates because the phone is just fine as is. Is it best to just install twrp or cwm and remove the update apps?
Use Titanium Backup to freeze 'system updates MUC'.
Do you have to leave Titanium Backup installed or can you freeze and then remove the app?

Good question. I don't know the inner workings of the freeze option and couldn't say for sure. You could straight up force remove the updater app also. I just recommended freeze in case you ever changed your mind and wanted to attempt an update for some reason.

Annoying OTA Update notification when rooted!

How do I remove the OTA update (Security update)? I am rooted and I keep getting the notfication.
Updating gets an error

i froze system update and software update with titanium backup and its gone
If you have root, freeze or remove SysScope from the system/app folder. Freezing it should do the trick. Or you can simply move that folder to a backup folder on your sd-card or internal storage and replace it when you want updates. This will stop the update notifications.
