I have found this issue where in the built in alarm app does not go off if the phone goes into sleep mode( screen off).
Missed my appointment Thanks to this problem.
Any suggestions?

I've been searching for the answer to this for over a week. After I snooze the alarm, the screen stays on. Is there an app or setting or a hack I can use so that after I snooze the alarm, the screen will turn itself back off? I know this is a noob as hell question, so flame away.....so long as you can help me find an answer.
Try testing alarm apps out until you find the perfect one.

That's weird, OP. I use my phone as my alarm clock every morning, and snooze it 3 times a day. My screen turns off without a hitch.
You might have a screen wake-lock. Download Wakelock Detector from the Play store and look at the screen wake-locks. Not sure if that'll help, but I thought it was a possibility.

But my tracks switch still
I'm now on Cloudy G2 3.0 ROM, now every time I go from sound+vibration to vibration and revert back to sound using quick settings, my vibration seems to gone and only sound remains.
Can we have this option.
1.sound and vibrate
2 . vibrate
3.mute
Then back to same cycle. I want Vibration always on. Is there such a option

Under settings, sounds and notifications, other sounds, vibrate on touch. Took me forever to find first time around, and to find it again now

I use Alarm Clock Extreme. I never had any problems with the alarm going off in they morning when I used the same app on my Nexus 6. But now with the Galaxy S7 Edge, when the phone is in sleep mode, the alarm doesn't go off in they mornings until I wake up the phone by hitting the home or power buttons. It's caused me to be late to work a few times these past few weeks. Any advice would be helpful. I have the alarms set up identically on both devices.
I believe you have to set it so it doesn't "optimize" the alarm app. I missed one alarm and then realized that might be the case. Every so often it will completely remove the widget as well. It's pretty annoying but I think it's more of Marshmallow issue than a Samsung thing.
