Deleted gallery. How to get it back? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Basically, after I deleted some bloatware with TB, my gallery wouldnt open for some reason. I can't remember what I deleted that could have caused this. I installed the 4.3 gallery and camera but I didnt like it, so I removed it. Now I have no gallery app
"App isnt isntalled"
Is there any way I can get the stock gallery back? I cant figure out how to view the deleted apps in TB

If you had made a backup of your phone in Tibu, chances are you still have the file since Tibu won't delete files from the backups just because you deleted them from the phone. Start Tibu, go to the restore menu, go to option for apps not installed. Your backup file list should show a copy of gallery. Restore that.
Or, you can install a gallery alternate that some folks use (and never touch Gallery!) something like Quickpic or 3D Gallery.

Swipe restote

I used titanium backup to backup the new Swipe before removing it. I went to restore it and there is a checkbox next to the item, instead of the other logo. Basically the restore feature is grayed out for most items I backed up? I went to the directory the backup uses and there is a compressed file for swipe. If I open it, I see some data, but no apk file.
Question 1st is how do I find the apk to restore this?
Question 2 is why can't I restore all backed up files via titanium (paid version)? Scares me to think I was safe using this product.
Use astro and hit the search button. Type swype with no spaces and search. You might find the apk that way.

Well I just discovered something strange with most Apps backed up with titanium. If I click on a file that I backed up (say swipe from last update) and uninstalled via titanium, and I get a message that data was backed up, and but no apk present. Sure enough, if I click on the archived swipe file, I see a data file and folder and no apk. Why would titanium backup some files completely and partially with others?
Also, without doing a nand restore, which I really don't want to start from square one, how can I get the swipe apk from the last OTA? SwiftKey has been unreliable since their past two updates?
Thanks
Pull the APK from a stock rooted ROM's zip file.
TB usually won't backup /system apps because, y'know, they're in the non-writable system partition. Normally, they're still there, and normally, you don't mess with stuff in /system, nor should you copy stuff over from one ROM to another if it's a system app.

[Q] Get Titanium Backup files back?

So, ES file explorer has a "great" feature where they will clean up an app's folder after you delete it. So, I flashed a new rom, and then deleted Titanium Backup to install it again (I don't even remember why) but that clean up option came up and I accidentally pressed it. So now all of my apps and app data are gone. Also, on the Play Store it says all the apps I have bought I will have to buy again. Is there anything I can do?
EDIT; Well, at least I have my paid apps able to install now. I also found that there is a recycle bin option, but I'm pretty sure I had to enable that before deleting everything.

Debloating - Went One Step Too Far

Rooted, stock, 4.4.2 and I went one step too far manually debloating my Note3. I've always used QuickPic for images so I removed SecGallery2013.apk and .odex from /system/priv-app folder. Now I find that Gallery is tied to both the Camera and Contact apps. (ie. it won't let me use QuickPic for adding Contact images).
Reinstalled .apk and .odex files to /priv-app folder, but Gallery not showing up in Apps screen. Titanium doesn't see it either, and camera complains "Unable to open app: com.sec.android.gallery3d is disabled". Perhaps I need to reinstall another Samsung component which I may have removed in my zeal to own my Note3?
Fixed
Never mind, it was incorrect permissions. All OK now.

How can I turn action launcher into a system app?

Apparently the action launcher dev managed to implement Google now into it, making it work just like on the original Google now launcher. But the app needs to work as a system app. I tried downloading the apk from apkmirror and copied it into system/app and set all the right permissions, it didn't work. I also tried it via lucky patcher and titanium backup, still didn't work. After I reboot the app is just gone, like it was never installed.
Did you just throw it into /system/app? Because I tried that before as well with another app and the same happened. The solution was that you need to create a folder for the app, like /system/app/actionlauncher.
Edit: Wait, I'm wrong. It worked for me when I put the apk into /system/priv-app/yourfoldername. So try it with that location.

I installed the app normally from the play store, then I went into data/app and moved the entire app folder to system/priv-app like you recommend and I set the right permissions. I rebooted and the app is gone, it's like it wasn't ever installed.
Then try to put the apk into system/priv-app/ without any subfolder.
If you it's possible to create backups in this launcher, make a backup and uninstall first.

Tried. Not working.
Then I have no idea tbh. One of these two options worked for me a while ago.
Maybe there's some updated app that can do this?
I don't know. I think Titanium and Lucky Patcher are always held up to date and you said they wouldn't work.
Here's a screenshot of my system app's location and permission. I put it there, restarted, and it said "Optimizing app 1 of 1" like when flashing a fresh ROM and was successfully installed.
