[Q] Getting the touchscreen firmware code. - Blade General

Hi
I have a ZTE blade(dell xcd35) mobile and 1 extra touchscreen(zte blade touch panel) which I wish to use for developing a two player game running on 2 different screens.
However, I cannot find the firmware/interfacing code of the touchscreen controller(FT5206GE1) on the internet. So I cannot control the touchscreen or decode what type of data is coming from the touchscreen.
I have some questions regarding this :
1. How can I get the code/interfacing functions of the touchscreen controller?
2. If not, is it possible to change the firmware somehow?
3. How to get the input from 2 touchscreens simultaneously? I mean does android support multiple simultaneous touchscreens?
4. Is there any better way to do this?
Please shed some light on how to proceed.
Thanks

I have a flexible one if its not possible but the lcd is nessicary. any links suggestions would be great.
P.s. its a regular vga output @the pc end.
Wizard is QVGA. Not sure you can resolve that with VGA output.
Repair manual can be downloaded here. It should provide you with information you need to make connections, etc.

[Q] Enabling touch on Windows 8 OEM installed on single touch PC

Hi there,
I recently purchased a low end Asus all-in-one PC, which features a single touch screen. I also purchased a brand new copy of Windows 8 OEM.
Although I wasn't aware of it, it seems that Microsoft only enables the touch features on OEM versions for PC's that have support for at least 5 simultaneous fingers touch. This does not seem to happen with the full retail version (or whatever they call it now).
Does anyone know a way / hack to enable touch on single touch machines?

[Q] Touch + OTG-device?

Hi.
I recently bought an OTG-cable but I don't have any USB Hub atm, so when I play eg. Modern Combat 4, I use the mouse for normal mouse controls (look around, shooting etc) and the touchscreen for movement and other actions, but the problem is that Android only allows one at the time. So I can't walk while looking around at the same time. Is there a way to disable this?
No one knows? Gonna get an USB Hub in 1-2 days anyway so...

Click to collapse
I don't think that can be disabled, but you can attach a bluetooth mouse or keyboard and it should accept input from both

How can I connect an external touchscreen display to my S8?

I'm trying to connect an external touchscreen display to my S8. I'm hoping I'll use a display similar to the ones in RPi kits, such as this, but I don't know how if the phone will be able to accept the input, and if it can, if it will act like a mouse pointer, or actual touch.
Does anyone have any information they could offer?

Head unit using X86 brain

Hi guys,
I'm working on a replacement for my Peugeot 508 multimedia&navigation unit because I need to implement new sensors & behavior, and I want also to use my phone Android Auto connected.
First of all, it consist on a 7 inches (or maybe more, if I find a way to rework the original housing with 3d printing) touchscreen (HDMI+USB) plus a brain and various proximity sensor (connected with various Arduino), 360 cameras & a CAN BUS bridge.
My first Idea was to use Raspberry Pi 3 with OpenAuto: it works with Android Auto (even with WiFi, that's mandatory for my project), but I know that maybe Raspi will got saturated.
My other Idea it's to use my old Laptop pc brain that's surely more powerful than Raspi.
But my doubts are:
1. is there an app that run on Windows (or Linux) that can be used to run Android Auto (client) supposing that my Phone will act as 'a server'?
2. Are there another low-cost brain solution that can help me reach my objective? PS: Android Auto radio can't be used here, because my 508 has different housing for touchscreen & 'brain'.
Thanks in advance at anyone that will reply.
PS: I don't know if this is the correct place for my post, but imho this seems the best place.
