[APP] [GAME] [1.0] [Android] Football Hangman - General Marketing & SEO

Hey guys,
I am pretty new to this forum, so please excuse me if I am posting my writings on the wrong place, but since I saw a few guy with similar posts, I would also like to introduce mine here.
Well, I am app developer and I have already developed a few interesting applications for ANDROID and BLACKBERRY markets.
I would like to introduce you one of my apps and I will appreciate some feedback from your side.
This application is called Football Hangman and it is free to download on Google Playstore.
Here is a short app description, that you can also read in the App-Store:
"You are a soccer fan and want to learn more about football? Well, here is your chance to put your knowledge to the test. Bringing back childhood memories, the good old hangman comes now in a football version. Test your knowledge of football players, stadiums, teams, etc.
In order to increase your scores, you can play "penalty bets" and risk your points to earn even more. Play every day and keep an eye on the statistics from previous days. Challenge yourself and try to guess as much words as possible during the course of the day to improve your personal best."
Please try this game and give me some feedback. You can also look at my other developed applications and try them out. I would appreciate your comments and ideas for better updating and further development.
Thanks a lot!

I have tried to find Bob Chappell but as yet to no avail. Bob, if you read this, please get in touch!
cOh my god! I actually have this game (on cassette tape, high tech) and remember playing it on my PET! But one thing, if you're the real easter bunny, then who the hell came to my house and put eggs in my yard!? Thanks, DLing now.
Dave
(One more thing, don't mean to threadjack, but does anybody know of a Colossal Cave Adventure port for Pocket PC? thanks in advance)
LOLs. Thanks Dave, let me know how it goes please ... I think I've got all the bugs out now
You may need to read the docs for navigation of the player character on the "mini games" or tasks when venturing through the park.
Have fun!
Steve.
I haven't found any bugs so far, seems quite stable actually.

A helping hand for graphic design

Hey guys,
Firstly thanks for reading this post and apologies if I have posted it in the wrong place!
I am a graphic communication and typography student looking for design projects to keep me busy whilst on summer break from university.
I have experience in information design as well as logo/corporate identity design and I also have a very good understanding of the adobe creative suite and would like to put my skills to use! .
However, I have no knowledge in web development, coding or anything like that!!! Strictly aesthetic!
So if there is anyone who reads this post, or you know of anyone that needs anything in the way of graphics, layouts, buttons, logos, visualizing statistics etc then feel free to message me!
Thanks again for reading
Dan

Try this
It’s that time of year! Valentine’s Day! Why not requite your Android love with Android-optimized games like The Sims 3, Need For Speed Shift, or Worms? And if that won’t satiate your Android cravings, try THE GAME OF LIFE or MONOPOLY. The best part is this gift of love comes at a lower price – up to HALF OFF to be precise! Seven games in all!

I picked up Tetris. Thanks for pointing this out. I thought about picking up Monopoly, but I hate "pass and play" games. If it can't send the game to my friend's phone so he can make a move, I'm not impressed. I then thought about seeing if Worms could do this, but their online shopping experience is less than functional.
Still, $1.50 for Tetris was worth it. Thanks again!

Minimalistic Text Screens...

Just wondering if everyone would like to share their setup of their using this app to give ideas and show the capabilities of it's awesomeness, thanks
this is a good idea. Why am i the first to reply? I think it would be awesome to have a place where everyone could share their mtpref files and post pictures showing what they look like. That way people could build upon what others have created. I think it would be a good way to get the creative juices flowing. OP, you should think about creating this thread in the android themeing section. General thread for a specific device? no wonder im the first to reply...

The only thing needed were the wallpapers: @KeithSwisher & @Romanbb
If you touch cookie monster's mouth, circle launcher loads 20+ apps.
And the App: Simple Text (get this if you like text icons).
Did not use the app mentioned in the OP... but I prefer this.
Minimalistic Text
I too, think this is an excellent idea and I'm really surprised there hasnt been more responses. Whats up community?
I just purchased a new Xoom 4G upgrade version and I am searching for setups to get some ideas from all you great peeps. If anybody knows of some good sites to check out that would be great...or of course start posting some Minimalistic screens here would be even better.

[APP] [5.0] Kairoskopion: a simple, not very informative, Celsius-biased, weather app

Hi all! I'm just doing a copy+paste from this reddit because the dev is not very active hera at XDA. I want to make very clear that I AM NOT the developer, I don't deserve any credit for this app, I'm just sharing since it looks really nice on the N5. Hopefully, as the feedback starts growing, the dev will chip in.
The app is really simple and straightforward but with beautiful material design. The app is FREE and has NO ADS. I hope you enjoy it!
So, I recently decided to make a simple Android app for showing the current weather conditions after my brother had an idea for weather/location-related alerts.
I then decided to add a weekly forecast (well, five-day forecast) to make it more complete, so to speak - and then, after much uproar, unrest and riots in the street of major US cities, I decided to add Fahrenheit degrees. My app remains devoted to Celsius, though, and it's not afraid to state it!
It's Lollipop-only, for the time being. I will keep adding features, as long as it doesn't mess up the app's spartan, simple, poster-like aesthetic. Still to come: widget, more detailed forecasts and tablet optimization. Plus a surprise-y feature.
Here it is:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.saladdressing.ottotest
Free and ad-free. So, how do you make money? DO YOU SELL OUR PRIVATE INFO TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER?
Well, no. I just don't make money. It's just a hobby.
