Hello there everyone,
I am really freaking out now. I was running CM10.1 on my Galaxy s4 and decided that I wanted to flash a stock samsung rom again.
Before the CM10.1, i had flashed I9505XXUDMH8_I9505OXXDMHA_BTU which has the knox thing
Now I tried flashing the same one by odin and it failed multiple times but then succeeded. My problem now is that it boots up to the animation logo and then stays stuck on the samsung logo. If i go to the recovery mode, I am welcomed with a dead android logo.
Please help me, will be appreciated!!
Thank You

Hi,
Once you have flashed anything with the latest knox bootloader, you are only able to flash the same firmware or later.
Look HERE
Flash MH8 pre-rooted should get your phone back

I rooted my phone with CFRoot & then install Cynogenmod Nightly build. After checking it out i flashed back to Stock ROM GT-'I9100_XSG_I9100JPKG2_I9100XXKF1_I9100OJPKG1' which i have on previous occasions flashed successfully.
But this time after flashing i am stuck at Samsung Galaxy S logo and couldn't go beyond it.
Need your help to resolve this issue guys.

Hiya guys need some help
I have a galaxy s4 gt-i9505 that I had running the Google play edition ROM
Then my wife ordered a galaxy gear for my birthday (early January)
I tried to put the latest carrier ROM on through Odin and it flashed OK but kept coming up with procces.android.acore has stopped
I did some googleing and then re-flashed the ROM but clicked the wipe button and it flashed OK
But when it restarted it got stuck in a bootloop and wouldn't get past the Samsung logo
I then flashed twrp recovery and managed to get 4.4 ROM on there (but it seems really laggy and drops calls everytime)
I have tried to recover my backup but twrp can't see it and the cwm recovery won't flash on
So how do I either get stock back on my phone or a ROM that will accept the gear and isn't laggy or buggy
Thanks in advance for the help guys

Download the triangle away app. (search google or xda)
Download the latest Samsung ROM from Sammobile.com
Enter in recovery mode and WIPE all data,
Flash the ROM via ODIN.
When its done, enter in recover again and make another wipe.
If u get a successful boot, and if u have a new bootloader(knox) u wont be able to use WIFI, u'll need to use Triangle away to wipe the binary counter. SO then u will need to REFLASH the ROM.
After all of this, u should get the phone working fine.
Sorry for the text. ;o
IF U DONT HAVE THE NEW BOOTLOADER (KNOX), JUST WIPE THE SYSTEM BEFORE AND AFTER FLASHING.
Good luck, bro.

Mate, try this steps:
1. Flash stock recovery
2. Flash stock rom from sammobile
3. wipe
The gear only works with stock rom 4.3
ok so i tried everything nothing worked and i got stuck in a constant bootloop
then i tried flashing it with odin 3.09 .......all was going well till it failed and left me with nothing on the phone at all
i re-tried with through 3.07 and this time it worked
i now have stock on my phone thankfully
thanks for all the help guys

Hey guys. I tried to find similar topic but I couldn't.
I'm facing a problem with my Galaxy S4 i9500. Around a mouth ago I flushed kitkat with odin. After that I rooted it. The phone was working properly until couple of days ago. It start freezing and restarting. 2 days ago couldn't start at all. Stuck on SAMSUNG logo. I tried to flash kitkat again , but it failed. I was able to flash CWM recovery 6.0.3.3-i9500 and clean the cache, delvik cache and tried to restore the manufacturer settings. After rebooting, I see Samsung logo. phone restart and stuck on the Samsung logo again.
Hopefully someone can help me out.
Thank you.
Doesn't sound like a software problem. I think you have some hardware failure. I don't think it's your power button though, otherwise you wouldn't be able to stay in download mode for more then a few sec.
That doesn't sound good. What hardware problem might be? The phone has never been dropped and always been in a case.

Did you remove all knox related apps when you rooted?
I recommend..flash stock rom.
After that..flash philz and deknox script..
Then reroot via philz itself..(philz options reroot)
Sent from my GT-I9500 using XDA Free mobile app
Hello. This morning I decided to install a custom ROM on my S4 i9505. I installed Clockwork Recovery, installed CM12.1, but few hours after, I decided to go back to stock ROM, which I backed up entirely through Clockwork. After everything was restored, I booted up and my phone was stuck at SAMSUNG glowing screen. I managed to go back to recovery and tried to reinstall CM12.1 from backup but that didn't helped me eighter.......CM12.1 gets stuck ever earlier......at Samsung GT-i9505 screen and shows on top of the screen "kernel is not seandroid enforcing". What should I do now? Is this a "pretty" common problem or I'm fked? In this situation can I flash back stock ROM through ODIN?
Thanks in advice,
Andrei.
Solved bootloop, but now there is no Wi-fi
I've solved 1 stupid I did, I need to solve another one. I've told you guys that this morning I've installed Clockwork recovery. Now my Wi-Fi is not working and I think I changed the kernel this morning. Anyone can help me?
Thanks in advice.
Flash the ROM again. Sometimes it takes a couple flashes for the modem to properly work.

Solved the problem. Thanks for the help. Flashed another stock firmware and everything works.
[My phone is already repaired by Samsung under warranty, my internal storage was broken so they replaced the motherboard. There is no need to reply to this thread anymore. Thanks anyway]
Hello everyone, I need help!!!!
Today my Samsung GS6 Edge+ died. (At least, that's what I think)
I own my G928F for 1,5 years now. I rooted it two weeks after that. Several weeks ago I flashed a new ROM called N-Lite Nougat v4.1 which has worked smoothly and without any problems since I've flashed it.
However, today, the 26th of June, my phone turned off all of a sudden while scrolling through Facebook. I haven't flashed, installed nor done, anything that would affect my phone in such a way that it would crash this way. I tried force rebooting with the 3 buttons pressed (Home, Vol+, On/Off) several times. My phone just boots into the ROM and then freezes instantly. Again tried force rebooting for like 5 times, NO luck. Then I tried booting into recovery mode (TWRP 3.1.0.0), cleared Dalvik and cache, factory reset, rebooted, still no luck. Tried several other custom ROM's, still NO luck. Also tried flashing stock Samsung Firmware using ODIN, no luck whatsoever.
I couldn't find any similar problems in the ROM thread, nor anywhere else on the internet. Besides that, I'm starting to think this problem is a defect to the hardware, not the software.
Does anyone know what would be the best thing to do in my situation? Or perhaps anyone who might know what the problem might be and have a possible solution?
Thanks in Advance.
Recovery mode (TWRP 3.1.0.0) is accessible though, but that's all. While trying to install another ROM it just reboots randomly, during flashing progress.
When you say you tried flashing stock rom with ODIN, does it fail or does it succeed but freezes up when you are back in android OS?

It succeeds. But when it's done it just keeps going in a bootloop. It doesn't even boot into Android now. I've used the right settings in Odin. Even tried several different versions of Odin. No success

Out of curiosity, when you flashed the stock Rom was it 6.0.1 or 7.0?
Does it just get stuck on the S6 EDGE + screen for a while? If so you might be to impatient as first boot on almost all roms both custom or stock take a while to boot up. If it shows the Samsung splash screen over and over then yes it's bootlooping.
I can't think of any other reason for it bootlooping, especially if you have flashed a stock Rom, unless maybe you flashed 7.0 rom and still have a 6.0.1 bootloader. But I think that just causes loss of baseband, not a bootloop.
I would suggest another kernel, but that is normally included in the stock rom.
Do you download them from sammobile or another site? If it's another site, is it a reliable site?

It was Android 7.0. I downloaded it from Sammobile. I've waited 40 minutes for it to boot up after successful Odin flash. But it just kept doing the same thing. The bootloader that was installed was a 7.0 bootloader. First i get the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + screen then the Samsung boot animation and it repeats for hours untill battery runs out haha

The last thing I can think of was did you get the right rom for your phone? 928F or 928T etc.
Other than that it might be a trip to the repair centre I'm afraid.

Try to do a factory reset in the stock recovery. It might help.
