Note 2 = 8.9FPS Test 1; 18.6 FPS Test 2; 32.5 FPS Physics; 19 FPS Demo
3DMark IceStorm Chip Benchmark
15911 vs 2771 score
Unreal Epic Citadel Benchmark
Note 3: 1920x1080 60FPS
Note 2: 1280x720 46.3 FPS
Quadrant
Note 3 = 20079
Note 2 = 6664
AnTuTu Benchmark
Note 3 = 28560
Note 2 = 19659
AnTuTu OpenGL ES 3.0
Note 3 = 3840
Note 2 = 1551
Speedtest.net (Connected to Campus 802.1x N wifi / Speedtest Clifton NJ server)
Note 3 = 8.57Mbps Down ; 4.68 Mbps Up
Note 2 = 8.13 Mbps Down; 1.57 Mbps Up
Also note that almost every benchmark opened and loaded significantly faster on the Note 3 thanks to the new throughput the device apparently has. Fantastic read/write speeds

Post your 3DMark scores!

Looks like the software isnt quite optimized for our devices yet. (Adreno GPUs run it a lot faster, for example Galaxy S III CDMA)
Anyway, here goes nothing:

[benchmark] HIGHEST SGX540 GPU Nenamark2 benchmark in Galaxy S(Hummingbird, S5PV210).

I got 40.8 fps with my private oc kernel in SGS Fascinate, compared to the stock CM10.1 at 27.1 fps, and stock i9100g at 35fps

SGX531 Ultra vs SGX540[Performance Analysis]

SGX531 is a old gpu (create in Oct 2006) but recently a new version of SGX531 come : SGX531 Ultra. Same numbers of units but a big overclock. His frequency is estimated between 400 and 522 Mhz. Compared at the SGX540(Nexus S, Galaxy S base frequency, 200 mhz for memory) it's a huge difference. I know overclocked version of SGX 540 exist.(Galaxy Nexus, Optimus 3D, etc). But the architecture of SGX 531 is exactly the half of architecture of SGX 540. So in theory, if we set the frequency at the exact double of SGX 540, we should get the same results but... the reality is quite different. In fact after many tests, I've comparables results of SGX531 and SGX540. Unfortunately I do not know the exact frequency used by the SGX531. Many news phones(a lot of chineses phones apparently) use this "new" gpu on low cost smartphones. The tests were performed on models with similar configurations. (mono core processor 1 Ghz, 512 mb ram, same resolution 800*480)
Results :
GL Benchmark 2.7 : (Theorical Benchmark)
Triangle throughput Textured C24Z16 Offscreen : SGX531 Ultra 7,866,918 Triangles/sec | SGX540 4,490,935 Triangles/sec 17% Better
Triangle throughput Textured C24Z16 Onscreen : SGX531 Ultra 14,021,563 Triangles/sec | SGX540 11,053,386 Triangles/sec 27% Better
Fillrate C24Z16 Offscreen : SGX531 Ultra 267,150,928 Texels/sec | SGX540 219,676,416 Texels/sec 22% Better
Fillrate C24Z16 Onscreen : SGX531 Ultra 197,397,584 Texels/sec | SGX540 128,086,480 Texels/sec 54% Better
Taiji 3D Benchmark : (Geometry Benchmark)
SGX531 Ultra : 9,21 fps / SGX540 : 11,15 fps 21 % Lesser
Nenamark 2 :
SGX531 Ultra : 23,5 fps / SGX540 26,3 fps 12 % Lesser
We notice the overwhelming superiority of SGX531 Ultra on theoric tests but SGX540 is better in real conditions
With this results i can estimated the frequency of SGX531 Ultra, 522 Mhz is possible. (the fillrate is very dependent of processor, the processor used for the tests of SGX540 is slightly recessed relative to that of SGX531 but is not limited mostly)

My Note worse than J2 how it's possible?

No matter what rom i use (stock, debloated stock or custom) my cousins new J2 performs better.
Opening apps = Draw
Touch Response = J2 wins
FPS (interface not gaming) = J2 wins
Note's display, camera and cpu might be better it can get better scores BUT her phone reacts my finger much faster also her phone always displays about 50 60 fps while my note draws 30 40 and sometimes skips frames. I hate my phone so much right now.

Do a benchmark test and see which 1 performs better.
If you use j2 for few days you will realize how much you miss note4 2k screen and s.pen features.
i sold my note 5 and bought note 4 cuz in.my opinion note 4 still better and worth with all the features that it has.
I agree some high graphics games lags and frame drops but i am not a gamer so most important for me is removable battery/ir blaster/microsd card 128gb+32 internal=160gb storage/1440p screen/and 16mp camera that still kick ass.
And most importantly here in xda dozens of roms available for note 4.

Honestly, you're are right
mine was too.
Recently relesed Gangstar New Orleans runs fine on my friend's j2 but lags on my note 4 a lot. Don't know whats the reason
