Hey there, is it possible to use the voice commands (I think S Voice) from the stock ROM onto an AOSP ROM like CM?
Google Now is what you can use.

Hi all,
I noticed that the Google Edition Roms are starting to trickle in (Pulled from the Google Editions of our phone). Will we be able to flash it on our AT&T devices?
This will definitely make me flash instead of sticking with TW now. The Verge is reporting that they got a 3rd party remote app to work with their Google Edition S4!

Yes you should, just be sure to flash the att kernel and superuser zip before exiting recovery. Also, double check, but I've read you need the touchwiz version of our kernel not the aosp version which seems odd to me. From the reports I've read though, the google edition rom is very much a work iin progress. It's probably better to just wait a few days for the major s4 rom developers to incorporate the goodies into their roms.
I used the ROM that's going around for the i377m does not flash the Modem so those are both stock and the ROM runs perfectly from what i can tell so far (only been a few hours, still need to test LTE properly).
I think that the touchwize framework is still integrated deep in the ROM, it's just all the top level stuff has been removed. I've even heard reports of the touchwize camera, dialer and such working on the google edition.
Edit:
The ROM does flash the kernel, I'm using the [email protected] kernel and the phone is functioning properly.
Is it possible to use some of the Stock apks of the LG stock ROM in Cyanogenmod? How can the apks be prepared for and instelled in Cyanogenmod?
For me there are three apps I'd like to use in CM. First, the FM Radio app, second, the IR Remote app, third, the camera. The rest is not interesting for me.
Do you know any apps for REAL FM radio and IR Remote (with learning function)?
Thank in advance!

Not sure about CM10.2 - these are for CM11.
The FM Radio app to use is Spirit2 - it's very good. Stock FM app cannot work.
The IR remote is available for CM/AOSP in the Themes forum.
The camera to use is the Google Camera from the Play store. The Stock one won't work.
Having problems with my knock sensor. Using an aosp based ROM and cannot activate my phone using the knock sensor. Now I have read that using the code3845#*801# (T-Mobile phone) will let me update the firmware for the sensor. My problem with the code is that (according to other sources) I need to have the stock dialer to access the menu with that code. So is there anyone who can give me an idea of how to work around this one?
Just reread that and man is it vage. When I try the code on my dialer I get a mmi error. I have tried looking for the stock dialing app. I cannot find it, maybe its so embedded in the ROM it can't be pulled? Idk. I just want to try to get my knock sensor working using slimkat aosp ROM. I've looked thru their forum and there's not much activity there for the lg g2.
Further research tells me the stock dialer is just an apk. Is there anyone who can give me a link to the stock dialer? Could i anyone grab a copy from their stock ROM and p.m. me a copy? Not sure if I will need the .odex file but I'm looking.
Hello,
unfortunalitely all tested ROMs doesn't support the integrated Android SIP-Client. An app like Zoiper is working, but without full bluetooth-support. (I can not use it in a car or on a motorcycle.)
Is there a ROM available with integrated SIP-Support, maybe CM?
Im on RR N but im fed up of the stock dialer, it doesnt have any export import option, and the t9 search is bad too. Suggest me a good dialer app that i can integrate into system app without any problem.
It's not possible in Stock Rom...
There are many Contact Apps with inbuilt Dialer facilities but it won't run properly in K4 Note's Stock Rom...
If we replace the stock Contact Manager apk in our root system with another Contact Play store apps, it may get force close issues with Dialer User Interface...
So, it's better use the stock rom's Apps or Else you flash the Custom Rom (Because in Custom Rom we can able to replace those apps with Gapps)...
All the Best!!!
