at the moment i havent seen any solution...backup all first...try flashing new rom maybe?

thnx.... ur the first one to reply... bt i already did that... no success... my fone still hangs when i use my vodafone sim(india)... nad works perfectly fine when i have my uninor sim(india)..... i tried everything with the APN settings... no success even there... i jus donno what to do... coz uninor has a bad connectivity compared to vodafone... and i dont wanna switch to any other network even though protablity is available...

why don u flash the RUU (have to warn u tat u ll lose the ROOT previlages) but then you can always do the process to get the root back.. jus a suggestion....

I don't know if this will fix your problem , but i was reading in a repair/j tag forum that sometimes a partially corrupted Sim card can cause the same issues , maybe take your simcard to the nearest vodafone shop and ask them to replace and reprogram it if they can , cost $2 here in Australia , lolz

at your country got official update??still got warranty?try ask the support center that you buy the phone...also we never know maybe it is a hardware conflict..maybe you not so lucky....better try....good luck man....

what do i tell them??? coz i guess the card is kinda working fine on stock...

Play it as if u don knw wat happ.... suddenly one fine morning, it didn started to work.. But do flash the RUU which will take it to u to stock..

bt there is no problem when i switch to skock rom... then what should i tell the guys there so that they would replace my peice.. is there something i could do that would LEGALLY make my phone problematic and stop working, and garuntee replacement and not just repair??

Hi I'm lipka and I'm new at this forum. As you know I have the Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 2 Gb. I have a few questions for you and I hope I can get an answer but when i do not get it and will be sad . I apologize in advance to maybe stupid questions that I will ask you once, but I will mention that I've never had a phone with Android operating system, and Y is the first device I also ask for your understanding. Even in advance sorry for my bad English but I'm from Europe (Poland) and I used google translator. Okay so let's start :
1) What is this whole "rooting phone", and upload it and what is "ROM"?
2) How to change software to the "newest"? (I have XXLE1 ( i have very much lags :/) and i want to change software)
3) How to upload the whole "ROM's" to my phone?
4) What is the best kernel to choose? I ask because there are literally a lot and I do not know which one to choose
5) Which "ROM" the most speed up my phone, improve his performance and will look the best of all ? Give me your's proposites
6) Is it true that the glass front of our very mobile draws after prolonged use?
And the last one: 7) Is the two gigabyte memory card good enough to me that I need to buy better?

Welcome to xda
Rooting is gaining acess to your phones OS and being able to change it
Update your phones firmware like this settings>about phone>Software Update or maybe use odin
As for the roms i heard hyperion is the best but you might want to install supercharger
Installing a rom is easy peasy you go in the recovery when you turn off the phonr. Ita power+volume up+home key buttons ... Hold them until the logo dissapears. And voula your in the recovery.

the best is to test all than u have an expierence and can choose whats the best for u

As CALIBAN666 said, test all of them. They are all used for some particular purpose or other, so you never know which one you might end up liking. Go through their features first.
And about the first post, those were stupid questions. But it dosen't matter to us as new users always come here and we welcome them. What bothers us that threads like this one are created again and again. That's why we advise new users to read the stickies of the forum and search before posting.

Galaxy SIII SCH-I939 imei 000000000000 Help Plz

Sorry if this post is in the wrong place but cant find correct place to post so please move if needed. Was given this SIII to unlock for someone and thought it was a I9300 but after things went wrong discovered it was an SCH-I939 from China. I think its a gsm cdma dual phone and the problem is now imei is all 000000000000....... I would appricate some help in solving this problem thanks in advance.

Try flashing a stock Rom for the phone or restore the backup of the efs folder you should have made

Try to find a forum for the phone .
Otherwise its a service centre job.
There are loads of fix my IMEI posts around you can read but they are not for that phone .

Need Help, Hardware ID changed from P4 to P3 :'(

Haii all, i rly need helps here, my device is galaxy tab 10.1 3G(P7500) and my hardware id suppose to be P4, when i check from Setcpu it said P3. Anyone know how to fix this problem? I try to flash CM10-P4 but i got error due to my hardware id.

Have u checked what ur device says under settings>>about tablet>> model number ? Does it say p3 or p4?
U can try if it works if u delete the first line in the updater skript in the rom's zip

HELP no network when switching to 3g or 4g network

im using samsung galaxy S4 and its in 4.4.2 android version ...
my problem is i dont have any network when im trying to switch to wcdma network
i can only use 2g/GSM only
and when i switch to LTE/WCDMA/GSM there no network signal
please help me how to fix this thank you in advance

I have the same problem. What you can do to make some more checks:
Search with google lte networks to see what band your operator uses
try the code *#2263# (if not working install Phone Info from market, it gets acces to secret codes)
go and try each LTE band. Most probably it will allow only a wrong one
check if your CSC is correct (again, the app above is pretty useful). Try to change to your correct CSC (attention, this with reset your phone).
i also do not have the solution, seems like Samsung blew it this time.

Thanks bro .. im from philippines ... i already tried all of the LtE and wcdma band in *#2263# but still i cant get signal from my network ... only gsm negwork is working ... and i installed the phone info ... and get screenshot of my csc info .. can you help me if theres something wrong with my csc? .. i compared it to my friends csc info , we have the same network provider and his product code is ( i think its the name of his unit) and my product code says ( not active )

I have no idea. I think the only possible solution is to downgrade, but that might be a difficult process. I will try these days and if I succeed I let you know the results.

thank you for the reply .... i already reinstall my firmware many times via odin .. but still no good ....
i checked my phone info ...
my RF cal is none and my hardware revision is not active do you think somethings wrong with that so i dont have network signal in 3g/LTE mode?

Tw roms are touchwiz based roms i.e. based on the stock firmware (where they say based on xxuxxxx firmware)
I have the same problem in CM11 based roms. They are aftermarket android builds from scratch.

my s4 is GT-I9505 cant find TW based rom for my phone ... or im just to noob ... i saw may threads about roms but i dont know if it is TW based ....

And.do read the OP properly before flashing.
Check the firmware you are on and the op uses. The device type and the device model too.
And follow all the steps religiously.
Make it a habit too

done flashing echoe rom ... but still my 4g /3g cant find a network .. do you think it is a hardware problem ? ...

After trying several official versions, it seems there is a problem with my phone. As it is still in warranty, I have sent it to repair to Samsung.

Sounds like a hardware problem. Maybe you should go to a phone service with it.
