Web pages, paragraphs different size? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm finding on stock browser and even chrome, that when I view a thread, xda for example, the first few paragraphs are a certain readable size, but further down the page the paragraphs then go tiny, and I have to zoom in the page to read them..
This doesn't happen on my Note 2, is it a glitch, or a setting I've over looked? Does this make sense?!
Thanks.

Opera slide/swipe problem

I have a problem with sliding/swiping some of the long web pages which appear with side/bottom scrolling bars.
On those pages I can slide/swipe the page down to a limit and after that, the whole page with the side/bottom scrolling bars moves, leaving a white background, with no possibility to look farther down the page.
The scrolling bars couldn't be affected.
I succeeded to see the continuity of those pages, only when I changed the settings of Opera Display to "mobile view".
Any one had experienced such a case?
Any one knows what's the problem and how to fix it?
Any one has an opinion for such a case?

Blurry images

Anybody else notice that images in Dolphin & stock browser appear somewhat blurry and pixelated, particularly on Honeycomb tablets? It appears that these browsers try to fit the page to the screen and end up stretching images out a bit resulting in a soft appearance. I've tested this on my own Web site which uses 900px images and no matter what I can't get Dolphin or the stock browser to render it 1:1 as 900px. Instead the images seem to stretch the entire screen on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (1280px wide). The result is a soft and pixelated images.
Alternatively, Opera Mobile seems to do a better job at rendering the images. As they do appear 1:1 and look every bit as sharp as how I see it on my desktop monitor.
I tried disabling 'Fit Web page to screen' in Dolphin's settings but that did not change anything in regards to the image rendering. Is there any way to achieve sharper images using the stock browser or Dolphin?
The default browser (and Dolphin) try to scale images to fit the width of the tablet. I figured out that by going into the browser's debug mode and toggling "Use Wide ViewPort" it disabled image scaling. The result is you get sharp images that are at 1:1 pixels. I just wish that there was a way to have this permanent instead of always having to go into the about:debug mode whenever the browser is loaded.
I'm not sure how to go about doing this in Dolphin HD or Pad versions though, since I'm not familiar with how to get into their debug modes.
I assume you are on KG6, if so you could either modify the framework or since he seems like a nice guy you could ask froli13 to mod it for you to run wide viewport, there is a thread in the dev section that changes the user agent to desktop http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17437874&postcount=110
I use dolphin for pad exclusively and never had any problems (except some sites with drop-down menus don't work).

[Q] What does air view work on?

I have had this phone since launch and have found only two things it worked on. Hovering your finger over gallery pictures the default at&t homepage for the browser. Is the feature available for anything? Even when going to other websites this feature either doesnt work or is useless.
Preview in stock messaging app?

Preview contacts in the dialer and video scrubbing hover over gives a small preview at that point of the video.
Sure the there is not much it used with. This is however the first phone with the feature and I hope more phone include it to allow more developer incentive. The feature needs to be referenced from the app to be used. I myself have been looking for the necessary SDK to make such apps. I have had no such luck on Samsung's Developer site.
So, yes, it will be restricted to Samsung's assortment for awhile. Which is:
Stock messenging. -In the app hover a contact to preview the message without opening it. On the lock screen, if the message is long it will do the same.
Email app - Same as above. Note this is the email with the red @ circle on it. Not gmail or any others.
Videos- the timeline should show previews as you hover your finger. This usually requires a finger tap therefore relatively useless. A good try though.
Gallery- preview an album. Hover your finger over an album to see the first few photos. While viewing pictures wave your hand over the phone to scroll through.
Calendar - Hover your finger over a day to preview the events for the day.
Internet app- Look for the icon in the notification bar. I forget exactly how to use it. The basic function should work for all web pages as the code for air gesture is local on your phone. I don't use or like the stock browser so I can tell you specifics.
Music - In a playlist change between songs with a wave of your hand. And as user fgoyti mentioned in the next post if the title or info is to long to fit, a finger hover will display the full text.
If there are any more I will add to the list.

Also the music app... it will show the full song name if it is too long to fit in the display, when you hover over it
Works on Flipboard.

What have LG done to browsing?

Ok, so I'm spoilt coming from a HTC One with its excellent browser and text flow. . but what have LG done?? None of the browsers I've tried (stock, chrome, Dolphin) even manage to do paragraph text flow on double tapping. Seems they align text to the left, but dont properly word wrap. Worse, LG have messed up the fonts, so pages dont appear as they should with some fonts in the incorrect size and colour.
Has anyone found a browser which is usable?
are you running custom dpi?
anyway try firefox or other browser

[Q] Pages/apps that don't allow zoom

I love this device. In every way. Except I can't read text half the time. Kind of a problem, don't you think?
I am have an Lg GPE to on hand to compare/consider. I like the text size, but don't like the size of the unit or the awful, dim, discolored display.
Help me save my Nexus from being returned:
There are some web pages that don't allow zoom. Bigger deal is that my magazine text in the Playstore app is very small and zoom isn't supported.
The 7 allows magnification if you tap it 3 times. This gives me good sized text. But page scrolling is "frozen". You can pull over to the next column, but it bounces back to where you started when you let go of the screen.
Is there any way to make the magnification function work so that when you scroll on page it will stay where you put it?
I am rooted.

Chrome has a option to force zooming on unsupported pages.
Firefox has a little book thing in the right side of the URL bar that enables Reader Mode. Basically it inverts the site (black background and white text), increases text size, and does a couple of other things to improve reading quality.
I know it's more of a work around than an actual fix for what you're asking, but I love Reader Mode.
