A random thought

Well i was thinking, on my Verizon s5 the bootloader is locked correct? And i know i have safestrap recovery but recovery can't flash the blaze kernel because it can't access the locked partition correct, well what if i was on my stock rom that's rooted. ... here me out. .... well root has power, what im asking is, can't i just flash the kernel from my root rom? ?
Example of root power, if i install fx file manager, and the root plugging i can modify any system file and more because I'm root, unlike the recovery....

Unlock Bootloader without wipe? Root? 6.0

Hello,
I am looking for a smooth method to lock and unlock the bootloader on my Nexus Player. Although being it is not a phone I guess I could just leave it unlocked... I am also looking for the best current method to root the Nexus Player on 6.0. I have been searching but I keep coming across guides for lollipop.
Thank you in advance!
Unlock/root guides are similar. They are the same except for the files used.
For Android M - i use fugu-mra58k. Use Chainfire's beta-supersu-v2.51 and it requires custom boot img, can be found on his tread http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps...ellow-t3219344. There is supersu2.52 but im not sure if it will have issues. My NP was already unlocked so I just flashed factory, moved supersu2.51 zip, boot into bootloader and flash twrp and CF's custom boot.img. At this point DO NOT restart NP, just boot it into twrp and flash supersu (you'll need otg+mouse attached). reboot and you should be good to go.

15=Bootloader That Can Be Unlocked And Custom TWRP Recovery Can Be Installed
11=Bootloader that CANNOT Be Unlocked. You can only have root through Lollipop 5.0 with SafeStrap Recovery or FlashFire. You can use Marshmallow ROMs but only non-rooted one, preferably with the use of SafeStrap. This Will Allow Easy downgrade to Lollipop to reroot and flashing of certain modified Marshmallow ROMs and mod zips

Bootloader unlock, magisk, recovery, root? What's possible?

Just a quick question. What's possible to currently do with this phone (assuming latest stock update is applied). Magisk , custom recovery, bootloader unlock, root? What can be done?

Flash Official Stock ROM with Root?

I have a Magisk-rooted LG V35 running some uncertified custom ROM installed by former owner. I'm wondering if it is possible to flash an official stock ROM on the phone without losing root? My goal is maximum compatibility with standard functions (e.g. VoLTE, Google/Firebase Cloud Messaging, etc.) with root.
as long as you dont lock the bootloader, you can flash the stock firmware and then root the phone
even if you lock the bootloader, you can unlock it, but it's a bit harder
