Anyone out there who ownes a titainium grey I9300 noticed that the notification led does not display light colours properly. For eg white is displayed as light blue and yellow as light green???

Is there a app or something to make the led notification change colors by its self or blink diff colors is that possible ?

I would imagine that the N3 has an LED notification light. But the N2 also has an LED notification light. It is just left of the top speaker grille, above the Samsung logo.

From the hands on videos, it does Have a notification light
this guy has had a note 2 for a year, and didn't know he had an LED notification
I assume it is the tiny blue one like on the S4?

Multi-color please
My fingers are crossed the notification LED is multi-color (and more than just red/green/yellow) so you can quickly identify the type of notification without relying on a blink pattern.

I have the S3 and never really noticed a "blinking pattern"...
Mine just blinks (blue and green and red). On / off / on etc.
Tell me more about this pattern?
There are 2 dots next to the speaker grill, so there should be a LED notification light.
As to multi colour led lights, you can always use apps that make multi led colours! I have atm purple, blue, red, orange, yellow and green for my notifications.

This is an impt feature for me as well. So disappointed when S2 didnt have it. Hopefully samsung dont disappoint this time round

Some phones use a pattern to differentiate different alerts (text, email, voice mail, etc.) and there are apps that let you control this too as there are apps that let you assign different colors.

This only works if the LED supports those colors, some LEDs are only 1, 2 or 3 colors like the HTC EVOs. They use a pattern instead of color, otherwise red for charge, green when charged or blinking green for notification and yellow for low battery.
I just hope the GN3 notification LED supports multiple colors. Is the notification on other Galaxy phones multi-color?
I would assume the Note 3 would have something similar to the Note 2. I have red when charging, green when fully charged, blinking blue for most notifications, blinking green for a text message. Don't see why they would get rid of that.

If you have N2 and don't see LED notification light, then you probably won't see it on N3 either, because evidently you don't get anything to be notified about...
N2 has 3-color LED and these colors can be combined producing different colors (require additional apps or even kernel)
Don't worry guys, I'm sure the led is cheap enough for Samsung to keep in the GN3.

If anyone is still in doubt the Note 3 I had this weekend has a notification LED. I don't think Samsung has time to remove it in the next week or so.
This is super frustrating. International SM-N900. I first noticed this problem when setting my whatsapp blink LED colors and noticed that the colors was wrong. Turns out some the mapping is incorrect for the phone.
Can you guys test this along with me?

mine is an sm-n9005
downloaded the led tester and the led is always blinking green no matter which color I chose.

Damn that sucks - at least mine has a couple different colors.
I ran more test - even though the white looks green, it is actually a different shade than the actual green HEX color .. Don't know if I should be happy or not.
Tested with light manager 900T USA TMO works fine. Much better than the S3 which was like 4 colors.
Does your white has a green/yellow tinge?

The white is actual pretty white. Again coming from a TMO s3 that was never a pure color maybe my vision is skewed.

tested out one app already and the color wouldn't change from blue...i could only get it to show blue when i hit test no matter what color i selected... i'll try this other app some time, but i'm on the SM-N900W8 for what it's worth
First thing I noticed about mine N900T and wifes N900A. LED colors are all mashed up and mixed up.
I also just now ran the LED tester app, any color I chose results in the LED flashing green with a bit of red in it LOL
I dont see the white LED glow on my note 3 which used to happen on the note 2 is this a bug ??

Install whatsapp and then start using it. When msg come.. observe the notification is white.

So when you test the white led you get nothing? I'd just point out that on my white note 3 the white led is quite "pink-ish"in colour, not really true white. Get LightFlow and test out the different led colours with that.
