Earlier when I got the N3 I could use the stock photo editor to select an area of the image.
Then I could adjust brightness-contrast-sharpness-saturation and so on.
There were three ways to select an area:
Lasso (free hand)
Rectangular
Magnetic
Now for the life of me I cannot find it.
Where can I find it?
Up right

Up right!
Could you be a bit clearer.
Perhaps a screen for shot.
tap and hold on the picture inside the editor, then the selection options would appear!

Hello I've been searching everywhere for help on creating a separate category called "groups" next to "phone", "call log", and "favorites". I need this function due to the fact I do property management and i need to know which house belongs to which tenant. Is it possible to make it on this phone? Since it is already built in most modern phones.
Go to the people app. Hit the group button in the bottom middle.

can not find an app called people app, where do i find it? what is it called? HELP!
It's called "People". It's not something you need to download, press your menu button and it is probably on the second page... under "P".

Hey folks:
I have been looking for days to turn off the little sidebar app with all the shortcuts. I can't find the app to disable or the setting to turn off!
Any one know how?
Thanks,

Try long pressing the back button
It took me a while to figure out as well. If you want it back long press it again (multi window must be enabled)

Just wondering if there is any way to get some of the camera options from the S3 onto this phone? I miss the option that allowed me to change the colors that showed in the picture. For example you could take a picture that showed only the blue or green objects or red and yellow. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Yeah they didnt add a lot of stuff like macro amd the colors like u said

This phone doesn't really need a dedicated macro mode because it can focus on really close objects with its default settings.

I continuously have to tap the screen to get it to zoom on an object when close.

We need the camera apk from nexus 5
Sent from my SM-N900W8 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Won't work. This is taken from the N5 board, about someone who lost HDR+
Thanks to everyone that helped out.
I found the culprit. I changed my build prop to be a Galaxy Note 3 so I could run Polaris Office.
I have changed it all back and after a camera data wipe it all returned.
So if any of you want to change the device name for any reason, it will disable the HDR+ mode.

But here's the apk anyway:

You can try changing your build.prop to a Nexus 5 but then you'll probably break other stuff on the Note 3
Hey All,
I just want to know what people recommend for my situation: I have a before / after photo that I want to stitch side by side... what app do you recommend?
Thanx,

That works perfectly, thanks! I'm kinda surprised that the Note 3 doesn't have something like this built in to the gallery. And I'm surprised that there isn't a feature like this in the Google + Photos app.
Welcome. Yea true. all the other drawing and photo related apps you'd think so. I found this when putting photos of my daughter together.

I have tried this several times and I can't get this to show up on my Verizon Note 3. I tried before selecting images, after selecting 2-4 images, no luck. I'm stock and not rooted. The only "create" options I get are "create a story album" and "create video clip". Any thoughts?
