run your framework through uot kitchen
select any battery pack
once you have the new framework-res unzip it with winrar
copy your battery icons to res/drawable-ldpi making sure all file names are the same as the ones you are replacing

It means upload it to uot kitchen - link already provided
use uot kitchen to create a battery mod with one of their icon packs
Once you have the new framework they create download it
unzip it
change their battery icons for yours
make sure names are same
To run something through is English saying to use something
to run it through you means to check something out with you
its just an English expression with different meanings depending on context

Because wifi is in systemui.apk
battery is in framework-res.apk (stock based)
not all framework support 1% battery decrease which is why you need to mod the framework & uot kitchen can do that - just select a % battery pack then change it with yours once you have the modded uot framework

Is there anyway i can download/flash a new notification bar on my ROM from another ROM?
I am currently running Damage v4.6.
I got a black notification bar zip from someone a while ago that worked with WW I think, but it causes reboots on the CE based roms.
I'd also be interested to know if there's a way to switch the CE based roms. I haven't checked into the metamorph themes, just was looking a little bit this morning, but that may be an option.
You can MM a new notification bar if you want to with the CE roms. Or if you feel up to it, find one you like, pull the pngs from it, pull your framework-res.apk file, replace the pngs in it with the ones you want push it back to your phone and reboot.

Making a MM file to replace the color of task bar is like 4 or 5 pngs to replace. Very simple to do.

Hi.
When replacing framework-res .apk with another one,
does the framework has to be compiled from the same
rom or can i use a framework-res .apk from another rom?
Also what do i have to edit to be able to change the
settings?
Like adding colour or making it look like iphone or ICS.
Thanks

The Framework-res.apk has to be compiled from your actually ROM, cause this have the entire UI System and features from the ROM.
If you want to costumize the color, forms and styles, you have to descompile "SystmeUI.apk" with the framework-res.apk from the same ROM. I Guess.
Hi all
I am searching for the website where I could create a battery mod by myself, by submitting my own files.
Thanks
Nico
UOT Kitchen will allow you to pick from their files to make a flashable mod. If you want to design your own icons for everything, just pull the necessary apks and decompile them yourself.

according to guys in ICS thread, it can be done by uploading the framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk from ROM files...?
I managed to flash theme but only font was changed (no battery changed):crying:
With all the data2sd, aps2sd etc implementation on Desire for ICS, are you sure that flashing those apk files on /system/framework or /system/app is the right path for it? You may need to manually put it in there.
It is confirmed for now that UOT doesn't work with ics. I wasted half an hour trying that on an Galaxy Ace typical no a2sd rom.

Yh its like that with INT2SD, in UOT you have to change the path to "sd-ext/apps_s" and "sd-ext/framework_s"

Surely you can use Xposed framework and a module for that if its not build in the Alliance rom.

Install Xposed.apk from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-installer-versions-changelog-t2714053 (read the OP well) and all available modules like GravityBox which has many UI tweaking options. Xposed modules are available here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/index-xposed-modules-collection-post-t2327541, Xposed is not yet compatible with ART afaik.

Yes. It's not clear if you want to change an existing icon or add something outright.
The former is generally called theming. Usually you can just replace the icon in question with a root aware file browser. Most app icons are in the drawable 360 xxhdpi drawable folder of system apps. The latter either needs an associated app, a smali edit or something to reference the icon.
