Hi
Anyone experiencing a low click like sound when trying to set the focus or when exiting camera on HD2? I am not talking anything about the shutter sound, this is something different. Not all times I can hear this, but for sure at some instances when setting the focus.
Thanks
Yes, I think it has something to do with the lens aperture. It decreases or increases in its range to compensate the image exposure to light...I guess that's normal behavior for a digital camera, even if inside a cellphone..
Since it also happens when zooming, I'm pretty sure it's the lens "mechanical" movement..
It's the focus lens being released to its "infinity" end position. It's most likely spring-loaded, and it hits the end point when control is released.
yup, anyone with experience of compact igital cameras knows that's a pretty normal thing
What's strange tho, is that I often/always get a very fast flash discharge blink when going from preview mode back to camera mode, or something... don't understand why that happens
I recognized yesterday when I shot some photos - flash was set at "auto" - that I got only had black pictures...
Anybody knows a solution for this issue?
move your finger off the lense?
sorry, I just had to...
have no idea. I'd say it could cause some software fail which could be fixed by SoftReset? maybe

What was your battery level like, I know when my battery level is low (sub 20ish percent) the quality of the camera and flash (and the final result) is reduced.
really weird, didn't put my finger on the lense and battery is full. if I make a picture with enabled auto flash, the first photo is always black. if I switch off auto flash and enable flash then I have a normal photo.
if opera is running I get memory error of the camera application, also if I have around 133mb of free ram.
Hello guys,
Can you tell me if you have the same issue with your S5 in low light condition ?
I don't know why in the middle the picture is normal and the color and the quality changes in the corners..?
Any solution?

hello, today i noticed that whenever im in pro mod and using low shutter speed there is these flickers or i dont know what to call them...
its only in pro mode and only if i use 1/45 shuter speed or lower with high iso.
can anyone relate or something ? i didnt have this problem before for sure
I literally just discovered about this problem too and was about to post it here.
Have you tried using fast shuttle speed in the sunlight? I've noticed that if I use the search setting under artificial light, it will show these stripes. Other than that, I'm not even sure what causes it; it could be hardware or software issue.

Not a dramatic as yours, but Def can see the bars. Doesn't bother me since I don't use pro as much, but definitely is software related and should be fixed. Shoot in raw and post process?

Just a normal AC light source flickering. Don't worry.
This will not happen on natural/sun light and DC light source.

Can you take the same photo with fast shuttle speed and post it here?
Oh btw, how do you check which sensor your phone has?
It happens on every cmos based camera with rolling shutter (so 99,9%) if shutter isn't fixed to a flickering light's source frequency. Simple as that.
You can play with the shutter in Pro mode (set 1/50 or 1/60 Hz for example).
i just tested the selfie cam same problem.
also teated note 5 same issue
well thank you guys i guess my phone is fine
It could be that the issue is because the use of an electronic shutter instead of a mechanical shutter like it is the case in most stand-alone cameras.
Its only with fluorescent lamp and that's normal.

yeah i figured that out.. tested with an iphone same results
thank you all guys
Hi. I think there is a problem with this mode. I dont know if its my mobil or software, but when I do a long exposure photo, for ex. 10s shot, the picture hardly has light. I have too a Meizu Mx4 and the diference between them are enormous talking about the light that they are capable to capture.
Anyone with the same problem?
Anyone with the same issue?
Can you post both the picture from asus and xiomi with the same object?
