Hi, picked up my g2 yesterday but only getting to play now... but the camera won't work.
I open app to use camera and its black screen and eventually it says camera not reachable...
Can this be fixed? Or is it new phone job...?

Mine feels very sold in the phone. I dont think thats normal, that it moves around..
Shouldn't move. Go RMA your phone under warranty.
Mine also moves and it keeps on showing camera failed when I start camera app.

Mine is solid, no movement. Sorry to hear about the hardware issue.

Got kinda the same problem, fully stuck but when i want to take a picture of something close it just doesn't focus. even when i tap focus 100000 times.
Hi guys, Just received my G2 and when I took it out the box the LED rear flash is on dimly before I even started it up? Now when I switch it on its on dimly all the time....is this a feature? or a fault? Very odd!

Hello everyone I have an issue with my g2. When I try to record a nothing happens. I press the record button and literally nothing happens. Sometimes I get a camera failed to connect error . I able to take still shots just fine.

Are you using the stock camera app?
Yes I'm using the stock camera app. I also tried a plugin for Kik messenger kkikvideo), and it also failed. I. Cleared the cache of the camera .

Well how are you using art on the d800 when the option isn't there, also I'm sure the problem is r hat you are using art and the stock camera might not support it

If you want better camera pics try xdabbebs or jishnus camera which both improve stock camera a lot

Wow those are really ****ty pics. My G2 takes excellent photos.
Maybe your unit is a dud or any scratches on the glass cover?
Here is a blind camera test, G2 (Uses Sony's Exmor sensor) scored better than GS4

do-not-take-shots-when-facing-direct-light source.. especially not trough glass or window... period

i'm asking you this because i get better images when i use either xdabbeb modded camera app (you can find it here under developer's area subforums) or DSLR Camera Pro (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.vipek.camera) which gives me even more settings to fiddle with...
you can also try some other camera apps like
Camera FV-5

or MX camera...

Just took this with FV-5 Just look blurry a round the light in what ever app I use or stock! Some I took today and tonight there's definitely something wrong with the lens ?
