Using gs4 as a Mastercard for paypass

I've heard of Google wallet and I know that us Canadians don't have it yet, but aside from that, how would one set up their phone so that they can pay through Mastercard paypass locations using nfc.

PS: This should work for Canadian variants. Theres also a flashable zip available somewhere. Browse through the Android Dev section, I think its in there.

Call Recording app/hack?

Could anyone help me finding any way to record BOTH sides of the conversation with the Sprint Galaxy S4?

I am using using stock rooted android

That's why you're having difficulty with call recording apps. You're double rooted. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Sounds like a good idea.

Until we get a working kernel for this mod, you can only record, thus far, through the speakerphone.

YouTube not working over 3G or 4G. Works over WiFi.

Ok for about two days I been getting this annoying error connection with server has been lost when ever I go on YouTube app or browser. It's works great over WiFi but not on 3G or 4G. Called sprint and of course they was absolutely not help. So can someone here help me with this problem.

Mine is working fine, are you running a custom rom or have you installed a mod lately? Some details on your setup are needed to help you.

I'm rooted running stock. Called sprint they said upgrading their towers. People in my area are all having the same problem.

Dial ##72786# it will reactive your phone no data will be lost it fixed my issues.

Color Emoji

Has anyone noticed color emoji on our note 3's. I can see them in Facebook as well as in some other apps. Is this 4.3? Thanks

I can see them when other people text them to me. No idea how to write them though...

Just long press the mic button whenever your keyboard is open and then click on the emoji symbol... there's pages and pages of these damn things!! But... I tried a bunch of them texting to my wife's S4 and she can't see most of them... so i guess we got a bunch of cool emo's that we can't hardly use till everybody else catches up

Sprint to Boost Mobile

Could somebody please point me in the right direction, I own a clean gs4 and would like to use on Boost network. I've looked through the forum and Google bit was unsuccessful in my quest. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try looking on Howard forums, they have a ton of flashing info there.

Thanks. Had a look at the forum and found it kinda hard to navigate. Perhaps this is because I was in my phone. Could you maybe post a link.

You need to talk to the migration department of sprint. they do have a different process for porting out from sprint to boost because boost is their sister company.
