What would be the best interactive calendar widget for people that are using a third party launcher such as Nova?
Man I use Android Pro Widgets.

S Planner looks ugly (I still don't know why people say it doesn't work, it worked fine on Apex) so I've swapped to Today.

Hey guys,
I've never owned a nexus phone and am struggling to find some decent widgets to fill my screens
Usually my phones come with a whole bunch of them, especially HTC with sense - I love their full screen size widgets.
Would love to see what you guys use.
Please share.
Thanks

I always go with Minimalist style with no eidgets other than a clock.
I use MinimalistText, UCCW, missedit!.

If you're coming from sense and want a clock/weather widget that similar to the sense one, use beautiful widgets
Uccw with moto blur clock, just cause I'm hooked on that style right now. Otherwise beautiful widgets, agenda widget, photo frame widget, stock bookmark widget, that's what i use on my phones.

This is such a waste of the N4's powerful ability to fill every screen full of widgets without any lag. You could've saved $300 and bought an entry-level.
Or you can have a super phone where its power is dedicated to function and steers away from fluff

Are we only limited to certain google app widgets on the android 4.2 lockscreen? Wish we could add any widget on lock screen

I've always used Pure Grid Calendar for a few years, I like the 2009 theme

I prefer Boid because it uses a nice looking holo theme and has the smoothest scrolling of any Twitter app I have tried. A close second would be Plume.
Falcon pro, trust me, best twitter app EVER. Awesome Holo interface, fluid and every feature you can think of is there. And its free.

I have been bouncing between tweetcaster pro and plume and like them both.

Falcon pro is really nice in don't have much opinion because I use. Twiter more like a news feed and not a social platform

I agree with Falcon pro, and easily my favorite, and just seems the most fluid, clean, and just beautiful.

Plume is a personal favorite. Multiple column in landscape is perfect for tablets. Always a solid experience for me, but I'm not really a "power" user. From what I've seen, a frequently updated app. Awesome on the phone as well.

Flipboard. Simple and clean design. One app for all news and updates.

I like Tweetcaster Pro myself but you have to pay for it. Try the free version and see if you like it...

Should switch to flipboard really.

Just installed Flipboard on my N7. Very nice way to view my twitter feed. Thanks for the tip!
twitter official app is the best
+1 for Falcon Pro, it's the only client that doesn't feel cheap to me... (Scrolling, and the UI in general)

Is there any way to open the S4 weather app without using the weather widget?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Wasn't the app intended to be used as a widget? I dunno, I'm just asking.
Thanks for such amazing insight captain obvious. Was just a simple question to see if there was a way to change that. Guess xda would be useless because the phone was intended to be used as is. Just saying.

It uses AccuWeather, just go to play store and DL accuweather

Is it possible to change the way the recent apps are shown? I like how it is on the HTC one but other ways would be nice too

Impossible?

Not impossible, just nobody's done it.
Difficult. It's part of the sense framework, which no one has been able/bothered to port.
U can try it.....if u have gud knowledge of porting, its possible

AOKP had that feature in the past for 4.1. Maybe they will add it to 4.2 aswell.

This is my first Samsung after years of HTC, Sony, and Lg Nexus devices. Is there abyway with the STOCK launcher to move the app drawer icon to the middle of the dock? It's driving me crazy.
